is this right 4 days post op
I had breast implants and an uplift on sunday, left hospital on Monday and i am still feeling extremely dizzy. I stopped taking my co-cordamel as ive heard that can make you really dizzy but it hasn't helped. Should i still be feeling really dizzy and light-head to a point where i cant really see straight 4 days after the op?

Hello, are you eating well and drinking lots of water? I felt this a couple of days after but it never lasted long not more than a few hrs... Are you sleeping well? Im not 100% but I think its normal x Just the GA leaving your system etc and you have just had an operation and it varies from person to person xxx Eat and sleep well and im sure this will improve x

Anti-bs can often make you feel pretty rotten hun after surgery so its a possibility it could be those, but just to be on the safe side the hospital would have given you a number to call upon discharge if you're concerned hun about anything so it may be best to just give them a call lovely... If only for some reassurance. Xx

Really hope you feel better soon babe.
Do tell your GP if you're still taking Anti-bs hun, it may be those making you feel so ill if you are.
Please keep us updated Twig. Xx

Re: is this right 4 days post op
Hi ladies
well i went for my appoitment today and saw the doc. Explained how I was feeling so dizzy to the put i couldnt see at times and that my body felt like it was being squashed and my legs where moving. she checked my blood pressure and said that was fine and looked at my wounds and said they looked ok - though one nipple looks a bit black and to keep a very close eye on it and if it gets shiny to contact my nurse but apart from that she said my dizziness is just a very bad reaction to all the drugs and surgery and could take up to a week for it to go :( not sure how i will manage to be honest with this dizziness for another week- seems a little bit wrong to me xx

How rubbish. Must be horrible being dizzy all the time. It's bad enough when you've had a few too many to drink! I hope you start feeling better soon. If you're not better in a day or so you should go back to the doctor. Hope you're getting plenty of rest, putting your feet up and relaxing.x

Re: is this right 4 days post op
Oh Twig.... not really an answer is it sweetie. This is just my opinion but if you are no better, say tomorrow, I'd get myself along to A&E and get checked out - don't want to scare you, but there may be an underlying problem why your are feeling like this. Don't get me wrong, Im not a doctor sweatheart but there must be a reason why your having these dizzy spells and the other symptoms. PLEASE get another opinion, just for your own peace of mind x

Re: is this right 4 days post op
Yeah i think i will though i dont wana seem like I'm being a pain. I was a little embrassed today as well going to the doc esp when she said there wasnt anything wrong. I was half expecting her to do some bloods but she didn't. The dizziness is just horrible, my head just spins and my legs feel funny. It's eased off a bit now but if it comes back i will see another person, though not too sure what it could mean? Thanks for all your advise and help xxSharonM wrote:Oh Twig.... not really an answer is it sweetie. Re: is this right 4 days post op
The anti-bs after a BA are generally a high dosage, unlike many you may have had in the past sweetie so this may have been the cause for how unwell you felt.
Boobs are definitely worth it
