Best Surgeon!
Hey girls
I desperately want to have revision surgery done on my boobs, I wont be able to have anything done for another 9 months yet as I need to heal fully inside before anyone will do any work on me.
I put all my faith and confidence in my original surgeon and I did do my research on him, I feel so disappointed.
I am even more scared that I see someone else and end up with another bad boob job so if anyone knows of any surgeons with an excellent reputation in revision work, please do let me know.

Re: Best Surgeon!
Hiya ,Sorry your unhappy with your results! who was your surgeon and can he not fix it for you? There are a few surgeons that I have found to be recommended by others you could consider/look into further. Tamiur Shoaib, Ben Chew and Cameron Raine . Hope you can get something sorted out, you have these ops as we are unhappy with our body and is awfull when the results are not straight forward and what we'd hoped for. Sending you a big hug in the meantime:hugme: . XXX

Re: Best Surgeon!
Sorry to read you're still going through this upset Nichola
With reconstruction you're going to be wanting the best surgeons out there, so seek only a BAAPS/BAPRAS surgeon.
BAPRAS surgeons are actually specialists in this area. This is their field so maybe that will help you in your search lovely I'm familiar with the first two surgeons in Mirrens post and they both have a very excellent reputation. Sorry I can't help with the third babe. Xx

Re: Best Surgeon!
Cameron Raine is BAPRAS registered surgeon, his NHS work is at St Johns Livingston ,He's a consultant there specialising in reconstructive aesthetic breast surgery and privately works at Spire Murrayfield if that's any help. X

Re: Best Surgeon!
Hey girlies
I will look into that. I had an email from a girl a week or so ago about Viv Vijh from one of the beauty guru's so I am looking into him aswell, actually I missed a call today from his assistant as I was at work.
My original surgeon was on the BAAPS/BAPRAS register lol so what hope have I got?
I can go back to my original surgeon but I trusted him first time round, he messed up and I am so much more self conscious now than I was before surgery and that's not what I paid £6000 for, missed out on a holiday this year, time off work and travelling down the country to see him.
Having cosmetic surgery is there to correct something you are unhappy with not make you worse so I am so disappointed.
I wasn't expecting absolute perfection to be hoenest but I did do my research and chose what I thought was a great surgeon, he's left me very scarred on one side compared to the other and my left nipple looks completely deformed where as it was normal before. I don't like the boobs either but I could live with them if it wasn't for my horrible left nipple.
So I just want to buggers out and to start all over again.
xx

Re: Best Surgeon!
I'd give personally give your original surgeon a chance to rectify the problem babe. In all fairness scarring is one of those things that just can't be guaranteed but if they're bad your surgeon should do the right thing and correct the problem so hat you're satisfied with your result.
It wouldn't hurt to at least go back to him and discuss the matter would it. At least then you'd have more options open to you to think about. BAAPS/BAPRAS don't just take any surgeons on babe, they're the best of the lot and closely monitored to ensure their work is up to standard.
Even the greatest of surgeon cannot guarantee perfect results hun and sometimes a little tweak is necessary.
I TOTALLY understand your upset having been there myself and undergone scar revision on uplift scars, but I wouldn't rush off to pay for more surgery when your original who is an experienced surgeon in the field could do this for you for free.
Just talk to him babe. You don't have to accept the revision, but at least you can think about your options. Xx

Re: Best Surgeon!
Yeah Ive got an appointment with him next week. I know scarring isn't guaranteed but he actually said he guarantees I will be happy with my scars, I am on one side but the other is a mess, it looks like its been done with a kitchen knife.
Scarring aside as I know within a year all that will fade its the very strange shaped nipple he's gave me, its MASSIVE compared to the other and is a very odd, deformed looking shape.
Both my nipples were the same size and shape before, he told me they would be smaller after surgery which is fine (the right nipple is smaller than before but is perfectly round and perfect scarring) the left is HORRIBLE and it makes me so self conscious I don't wanna show anyone.
I wasn't that self conscious before, I just thought since I am hitting 30 I could be doing with a wee boost.
Honestly its hard to explain but he's made such a mess and I'm so depressed over it. I don't want him touching me again. I trusted him first time so I am not trusting him again. I'd rather fork out another 10 grand if I have to if it means someone will make a better job.

Re: Best Surgeon!
I'm glad you have an appointment hun. You know the surgeon is more than capable given how neat one side is, so it is possible the other side can be same.
It just takes having the old scar tissue completely cut away and a new scar created then from the fresh tissue.
If you've no confidence at all after seeing your surgeon then at least you gave the benefit of the doubt hun and as you're looking to have the surgery 9 months or so down the line, you can then start to focus on seeking out another surgeon.
Trust me though Nicola, I do know how upset and angry you're feeling right now hun... Honestly, I do.
But on the positive side, it is something that can be fixed babe

Re: Best Surgeon!
Just wanted to add you could go to transform who offer free consultations and get a 2nd opinion advice from one of their surgeons, I know Ben Chew aswell as working for the NHS works for transform, they don't need to know that your not considering an op with them, that way you don't need to be out of pocket for the advice!
Hope you get something sorted soon so you can get the perfect boobs you so much want and deserve. XXX

Re: Best Surgeon!
Hey sweetie
Thank you so much, I will look into these surgeons and got to Transform for advice since its free.
I have booked a consultation for Mr Vij in Birmingham on the 30th of September, couldn't get him before then.
Even although he cant operate now or anytime soon he still wants to see me. His consultation is £120 for the first consultation then any other consultations are free so he said I can come back and see him as much as I like between now and around the time of surgery.
Don't wanna put all my eggs in one basket though so I will have a look at these other surgeons.
