Revision one year from 1st op!
Hey everyone
Its been a while since I've been on here! Hope you are all well.
I am booked for my revision surgery on 14th August, feels a bit surreal but im nervous/excited.
I had an anchor uplift an 340 MHP done last August, recovery was excellent and I had no problems, started to feel that my right boob ha fluid or that the pocket was a bit big? had another meeting with surgeon and he said to wait and see if pocket would shrink with scar tissue, or if it was fluid my body may absorb it. Nothing changed so he straight away said he'd get me booked in for surgery.
All very straight forward this time. I mentioned my areolas had stretched and he said my boobs have dropped a bit so hes tweaking a few things (crescent/donut lift left boob, maybe full anchor hopefully just donut on right with a swap of implant from 340 to 380 to fill the pocket)
I had a total nightmare last year, op cancelled, difficulties getting old notes from GP etc, total stress! All went fine and Ive received a letter from my GP today asking me to have an appointment as they received a letter from Transform. It doesn't say why and its made me so nervous!!! Do any of you girls know why they want to see me?? Is it just so I can consent for my medical details being shared or something? Its made me so nervous in case its opening another set of problems like last time!
HELP!!
on the plus side, it feels good to be back here and writing this down with people in this situation rather than having it all in my head! x

Re: Revision one year from 1st op!
Hi!! I'm not sure about why your doctor might want to see you? That's strange... My doctor had tried to talk me put of having a BA but I'm sure it's not that lol, seeing as you already went ahead!
Just wanted to say that I'm happy you've been agreed a re op! I'm going with transform so good to see aftercare being kept! Good luck :) xx

Hi Jen
Yes babe, your GP will want to see you to get permission from you to share your medical notes.
I recently underwent another lollipop lift Jen, and boobs are certainly tighter now I can tell ya! Lol. I like them though as I'm sure you will too when the revision is all over.
Don't forget to pop your date in the calendar lovely (you know the drill lol) and if you'd like to, pop by the August buddies thread also. Xx

GP called me and it was just to see if I'm fit for surgery and to confirm my details. AND RELAAAAAX!! lol. Now it's time to buy some new bras, tshirts, arnica and PJ's!! Xx

Pleased you've got a re-op. Not long to wait at all, very exciting. Good to know Transform have been good with their aftercare too! Thats reassuring to hear xx
