Revision with Dr Dirk Kremer or Dr Bryan Mayor
Hey girlies
I posted in the breast uplift/reduction section although wondering if I should have posted it in here instead? Both sections are relevant to my issue.
Anyway I am looking to have revision surgery with Dr Dirk Kremer or Dr Bryan Mayor as I don't want to return to my original surgeon incase he messes me up again.
I had a BA and uplift. I am not happy with my new nipple size and shape on the left side and the scarring is bad, both boobs look like they were done by different surgeons so therefor they look weird and also considering I had an uplift, they look like they are in the same position as before only difference is my nipples a bit higher yet I am all scarred, scarred for nothing it seems.
If anyone has had any revision work done with either of those surgeons I'd love to hear from you.

Re: Revision with Dr Dirk Kremer or Dr Bryan Mayor
Ive just checked online both surgeons. Neither are on the baaps or bapras registers.
Dirk Kremer is on the GMC register and is on the specialist register.
I couldn't find Bryan on the GMC register.
Also ive found that normally a 'Mr' rather than a 'Dr' is more experienced because they have done further training and are more specialised in cosmetic surgery?
I think that's right... Not to say that the surgeons you list are not able to do the job but thought ild point that out :)
If you type in Glasgow into our search bar in the top right hand corner you may find other popular surgeons in your neck of the woods! xx

Re: Revision with Dr Dirk Kremer or Dr Bryan Mayor
Dr Kremer is meant to be a celeb surgeon and Dr Mayou is meant to have been the one who introduced liposuction to the UK!
I made a spelling mistake BTW, damn! Its Bryan Mayou not Mayor
The surgeon I just had is on the BAAPS register and is meant to be a top plastic/reconstructive surgeon LOL so I don't know if there different registers mean much TBH!!
Its such a massive decision choosing the right guy, nightmare.
There's nothing in Glasgow I fancy, I'm looking more at London.

I just saw your other post aswell so il just answer here instead of there aswell. From your other post it does sound like it could be a more indepth problem and will definitely be a help if ladies with more experience will be able to advise you better than me! Im sorry your not having a good experience so far Sounds like your very organised though and are considering all of your options!
Its crazy! I met a Baaps member and he wasn't my personal favourite through mybreast... im going with transform in September.
It does sound like your in a bit of a nightmare! You went through a BAAPs surgeon which are meant to be the best and still are having a tough time so it does sound like a complete nightmare!!
Fingers crossed for you , I hope all works out xxx

Thanks for all your help Jennifer but can I give you a wee insight into issues my sister had with Transform??
She had them done originally a few years ago with Transform and they looked fab for a while then one of them totally deflated and made her very ill, Transform took no interest in her at all THEN the whole PIP thing came out so she had all the crap that's in a PIP implant leaked into her body. Transform told her they couldn't help her unless she coughed up £5000 for them so my step mum had to put it on her credit card. As soon as she got them out and new ones in she wasn't ill anymore at all.
She was so ill with them, the doctors wanted to take her thyroid out which would have left her with a massive scar across her throat but as I say as soon as she got the implants out she was ok.
So Transform were only interested in helping her when she handed over the money again despite a deflated implant and her being very ill even after the PIP exposure so I would be very wary with going with them unless you have a back up plan (money) incase anything goes wrong.

Thanks for sharing your story! I really hope your sister is feeling ok now! We have another lady here having her pips out soon and it's a horrible!!
I have done a lot of research and meet with four different company's and 5 surgeons. .. I was wary about going with a bigger company because they are business led. We have an excellent moderator here called cookie who I'm sure your meet who went with transform and had a horrible time of getting them to care about get issues after the op! She still is having problems with them now and swears to never go with them again!
However I have chosen them because of the surgeon and my research on him. I have followed his work, seen pictures and met him a few times! I'm aware that if I do face a complication it will be a struggle to go through transform but I am hoping it will all work out ok obviously!
I can only go with my own feelings because I've researched away for ages but thank you for sharing, it's good to hear so you know what to expect and don't go in with rise tinted glasses!! Xx

Hey
Well I hope it all works out for you hunni. Its not the surgeons who are at fault its the company. Same as I imagine the majority of the surgeons would have thought the PIP'S were cheap crap too but wouldn't have had a choice as that's what the company used.
I don't want to burst your bubble but just thought I should let you know that the company can be a nightmare to deal with.
My surgeon was private and if that would have happened to me or any one of his patients he would have taken us in and fixed it free of charge as that's part of the guarantee with him, I'm just scared he'll make a mess of my boobs again that's why I wont go back but its nice to have the option.

Hugs for your sister.
I've had a very similar experience with Transform myself hun so can totally relate to this post.
I've no experience of the surgeons mentioned babe and I'll see what I can find on them for you later.
