Harley Street Plastic Surgery have gone!

Has anyone enquired yet about aftercare?

Remember girls, even if surgery is honoured aftercare is taken out as a contract with the 'clinic' and not the actual surgeon.

I read this on another forum

I emailed GG personally this morning and he sent a nice reply stating that he is ALSO taking legal action towards HSS and will keep everyone he has performed surgery on updated.

 
It worrying that should you suffer a complication Mr Georgeu may not have the funds to pay for for all the hospital, surgery, medication and his free time himself. X

My full aftercare has been honoured but I don't know details of who is/isn't covered.

Mr Georgeu insisted on emailing me confirmation of this too.

I didn't ask too much this morning as he did speak about it but by the sounds of it he's spent his whole weekend dealing with the mess and I know there is a lot of money involved :(

I get the feeling that he's switched me onto his personal books if that makes sense? I realise to that I am very lucky and I am very thankful to Mr Georgeu and the team at the chelmsford clinic.

I struggled to find his personal website or else I would have originally booked direct. If anyone would like the link please message me and I will send it to you.

Now that the clinic has gone if Mr Georeu is implying the aftercare will be honoured by his team then get that in writing!

Without that you really don't have a hope in hell if they decide not to honour it later.

Do get it writing hun - this is the only way you will have a binding contract. Xx

Their website is still open now! I was supposed to have a consultation with Mr Garrick on 13th July, but had to cancel. They still called my to confirm appointment the day before and no mention was made of any of this. I wonder if they are still actively seeking business now?
I hope everyone that had surgery with them has got the answers they were looking for.x

I've only just read this. Does anyone know how Bex got on? God love her  i hope she doesn't give up tho, that's her money and she at least deserves a full refund if not her surgery as agreed! x

Hey girls, the website is still up and running but I'm not sure what actually happens when you phone with a new enquiry I might have to try it.  An still waiting for my money back as I certainly don't want my surgery with them or actually anything to do with them once I have it back as any trust that was there is gone..  I'm currently rebooked direct with Garrick for the 25th September dependant on me getting my money back.. Fingers crossed xxx

Help Girls...

I have just had a colleage call HSPS to enquiry about a BA as a test and they called her back and gave her all the information she requested and that she could be seen as early as next week!!!!!!!!!  She was advised that for my surgeon she would have to go to Aurora in Essex, but that doesn't matter the fact is they are still taking bookings....  What the hell do I do now.... I am LIVID!

I'd report the b*stards to trading standards hun.

Sorry for being so blunt but the way these clinics treat women is disgraceful!

Give trading standards a call babe. Tell them what's happening, about them withholding your deposit and your friends call so you know they're still taking bookings.

Shame on the surgeon too who MUST know all about this as well.

Theyre continuing to take deposits so they each woman they get they get £500 off them!

the surgeons involved and the clinics are an absolute disgrace and have no morals whatsoever?

I tell you what Bex, I know £500 is a lot of money babe, but if it were me and I had the possibility of losing that money, I'd take that as a life experience babe and move on from that clinic and all involved with them.

Can you imagine a surgeon with those kind of morals treating you if you had a complication?!!!!

Get out of there babe and seek out a BAAPS surgeon that will treat you well and look after you hun. Xx

Thanks Cookie.. I really thought the surgeon was seperate from all this.. Waiting for him to reply to me now..  Failing that I have his mobile so will be giving him a call..

I will update Action Fraud and Trading standards with the latest and I recorded the whole conversation on my phone and have a copy of the email that was sent from the clinic..

Am gutted, they've actually for £3500 of my money, hence why I am trying to fight it.. If it was just £500 I would have just left it.. But without that money I can't even look to going anywhere else as I won't be able to afford it..  

Just have to see if anyone has the decency to call me back x

Oh no babe... That's awful!

The surgeon MUST be involved. He knows about the clinic and the problems involved. From what I've personally been reading online he's had enough of his patients express the same concerns as yourself so he's well of aware of EVERYTHING! Yet still he's accepting consultations on behalf of the clinic?!!!!

He knows alright.

I can't believe that they are still taking new enquiries. That's terrible. I agree the surgeons must know what's going on. They are not that detached from the finance side of things. 
I'm still surprised they've not been chasing me to re book following my cancellation. 
I hope you manage to get your money back Bex. The office of fair trading might be another place to contact. Did you pay on a credit card? If you did you might be able to reclaim it that way! Good luck.x

From him still taking consultations on behalf of the clinic babe and with him being VERY aware of the situation, him saying "he's had enough" to you is one thing but actions speak far louder than words and in continuing to accept consultations... There's something verrrrrry dodgy about that babe. Xx

I'm finding this very confusing.

Mr Georgeu told me at the beginning on July that he no longer had anything to do with Harley Street Surgery! He seemed very annoyed at what they'd done and I'm sure he said he was having nothing to do with them anymore.

Could they be lying about appointments with Mr Georgeu? As far as I researched (in May 2013) Mr Georgeu was only available at The Cadogan Clinic, The Chelmsford and Springfield Hospital. 

Today his website still only names those 3 clinics. No mention of Aurora?

The fact that they are still taking bookings I find very worrying, and is one of the reasons I originally started this thread.

HSS aren't looking good right now and it seems they are out to deceive women and encouraging them to part with their hard earned cash and take advantage. Disgusting.

(Also wanted to add that although I booked through Harley Street Plastic Surgery, I now go through direct to Mr Georgeu with any problems as well as for my aftercare. I have no dealings with HSPS anymore. This is why I believe Mr Georgeu when he said that he isn't working with them anymore, It would cost him money to sort my aftercare etc he wouldn't do that for no reason).

He's definitely working for aurora, he's on their website but I don't think aurora and hsps are affiliated in any way x

Feel sorry for you all involved in this it's scarey that this happened thank god for this forum letting everyone know about them it's so scarey that he's still having consultations for the clinic I hope you get your money back Bex
