Re: Question for ladies who have had their surgery...
hey Midgie. Im soo glad I did it, its something I've wanted for years! Im 5'7/8", round 65k (10/12), and started with a 36aaa. CC is the same as grams, so mine are 340 high profile full unders, which is the biggest that they could fit. Currently wearing 38Bs, but the 36C will fit way better once my swelling goes down! I was layed out for about 3days, then something clicked and i was on the road to recovery. It gets easier every day, but Im glad to hear you've managed to get an earlier date to give you some more time :)

Thanks for the advice cookie. Will my surgeon give me a note or will I have to see my GP for that? So many questions...soooooo freakin excited (and nervous!!!) looking at all the boobies on here and reading all the stories/advice etc is really helping! What a great place this is! xxxx

Re: Question for ladies who have had their surgery...
Hiya Midgiebites,
I was just wondering if you have had your surgery yet and had returned back to work? I'm in a very similar situation...booked in for a BA next month and can only have 7 days off work, I'm a nurse too and returning on nights so thinking it'll be quieter but still worried that it wont be long enough as I'm having partials. I know everyone heals at a different pace and copes with pain differently but just wondered how you got on?
Thank you! :) Emma xx

Re: Question for ladies who have had their surgery...
I had overs and I read its an easier recovery. I felt pretty rotten and I've a high pain threshold! Being honest the weds of the following week would have been ok for work I.e 11 days post op as I was operated on a Saturday. It's not the pain that might stop you but you will be completely shattered. I took a walk for five miles 14 days post op and it floored me - take all the time you need to recover you don't want to be sitting at home panicking about going back to. Work xxx
