They WILL change your choice of surgeon hun. You have the right to change if you want to. You may need to be insistent though and they may well try to talk you out of it by manipulating the situation, possibly telling you he doesn't do uplifts or other excuses. Don't listen them. They really are just that - EXCUSES. So demand the right to change hun and you'll get what you want. Xx
Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
I'm gunna discuss with pc and voice concerns mario isn't baprs registered etc as I can't afford for it to go wrong ( I know there's a risk but rather be minimal) I could really do with seeing more of Russo work on uplift and bas . Be good to get girls who have used either give advice and if possible maybe some pics to we there works .
As op is two weeks ago will I get to see new surgeon or will I just get booked in ? Will it also mean very high chance y surgery date will be moved from 26th ? X

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
Its possible you will need to change your surgery date yes Sophia, so for the want of the better qualifications this may be something you'd have to sacrifice babe and yes, you would need to have a consultation with Mr Hassan prior to surgery.
For me personally... It would be worth it, but its you who would have to decide that for yourself. Xx

Sophia is having a lift lovely, so wants the additional qualifications to help her achieve the best result.
BAAPS members really are the elite of plastic surgeons hun. Its not at all essential that surgeons are BAAPS members. There are MANY very good surgeons that aren't, what is essential is that they're on the specialist register for plastic surgery which Mr Russo is, so he is a qualified surgeon. But if you're looking for the best... Then its a BAAPS/BAPRAS member you would look for really hun. Xx
Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
I've heard good things about mr hassan and if you type him in the search bar I think a lot of good things come up :) mr hassan was one of my choices , good luck, sorry you haven't had a smooth journey so far but I'm glad you've managed to do lots of research :) x

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
I'm staying with me Russo he isn't barps registered as he isn't British he is Italian so he can't register I've been told he is best in uk hence he's always first recommended o celebrities and for shows like embarrassing bodies etc and that she wouldn't recommended me go with anyone else as he is the best. So I'm sticking with my choice . My gut is defiantly right he is the surgeon for me so I won't be changing think I just had a moment she also said she has never had anyone be unhappy with his work and if I needed any tweaks as sometimes this does happen I'm fully covered at no cost to me so I'm happy with my choice I think I just had a moment he is the best in uk for breast argumentation x

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
Just to confirm on this thread as well for anyone reading so they get the RIGHT information babe.
Any ethnic origin can apply to be a BAAPS/BAPRAS member...BUT the surgeon MUST hold a FRCS qualification to at least apply. If they don't have this qualification as Mr Russo does not hold this qualification and therefore is not qualified to apply. Xx

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
Thanks for that info cookie, I knew that anyone could apply but didn't know they needed a frcs first, something to remember, learn something new everyday xx

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
Quoted from BAAPS
A founding principle of the Association remains the education of the public about cosmetic/aesthetic surgery and, particularly, the benefits and risks of procedures. Whilst all Plastic Surgeons are examined at a baseline level of cosmetic surgery in the FRCS (Plast.) exam, to become a member of BAAPS surgeons need to fulfill a number of other criteria. Applications are scrutinized by the Council of BAAPS and then voted on by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. BAAPS demands that its members act both ethically and with probity; membership can be removed after due process if there is evidence of continued failure to act in a manner becoming of a member

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
As stated from the quote I made in my previous post lovely:
From HERE
Note that it says as I said babe: ALL surgeons must have FRCS at the very least.
Mr Russo works HERE in the UK babe, so would not need to apply to work as a BAAPS member overseas. He would apply here in the UK where he works along with many other foreign surgeons. There are MANY foreign BAAPS members.
He COULD apply if he wanted to... But ONLY if he had a FRCS qualification. Xx

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
As long as YOU'RE happy with your choice then that's what's important to YOU hun. But I'm sure you understand that we have to correct the things PCCs say to women for others reading here so that they get the correct information rather than manipulative information lol.
I'm glad you're happy Sophia and look forward to reading how you get on when you have your next consultation. Xx

Re: Mr hassan or mr Russo
Yes defiently I would rather her of been honest and said he has just chosen not to apply for it rather than say something I can check myself to discover the truth in . Well they have two dates tomorrow which I can't do as in Cambridge and i have plans or the day before my op so it looking like it will be the day before the op . Not sure what else to ask him I did ask quite a lot at the first consultation with him in may lol x
