Numb boobs

I am 8 weeks po and my boobs are still quite numb in places, can't feel my nipples and probably about an inch around them, the sides of my boobs are fine and the top. But I'm not sure if I am just being paranoid, but I feel like I had more feeling a week ago than I do now. I thought I could feel the top of my left boob but now it's numb, I may be dreaming it so I am not to sure. Just wanted to check if this was possible and if it is anything to worry about if the numbness is coming and going?

You're going to experience many sensations over the year or more following a BA.

Numbness is one of them and you might feel sensation one minute as you say and not the next... Its certainly not uncommon babe and not something to be concerned about so early in your recovery.

Sensation can could fully return tomorrow, it could take a whole year as mine did and for a very small few it can take up to two years. But the majority have sensation back by one year post-op.

Those that haven't had sensation return after 2 years will not regain sensation.

But at just 2 months post-op, you're just off the starter line in your recovery hun, so don't worry about it. Xx
