I got my bandages taken off on Day 3 at the clinic and she put steri strips on. I'm now on day 6 and want to change them because they are getting a bit fluffy. Do I just peel these off and place a fresh set on? Keep getting visions that my skin will rip open :S
Do I give them a wipe with water first? Xx

Thanks Princess. I seen my scars at the clinic and they look good. But I just get worried about these things because I've never had stitches before. So worried about infection!! Xx

Hun personally unless they are dirty or lifting I would leave alone, but depends on what you've been advised to do. xx

If their peeling then change them, if they lift then bacteria can get underneath. I wouldnt worry anout them getting a little fluffy. Give your hands a good wash, dry with a clean towel then gently peel the old one off and replace with the new ones, avoid touching the area and steri-strip as much as possible. ;)
