wired bras ouch!!
I've had my wired bra on all day, first time since op, and my boobs are really achy.
I'm thinking of putting my sports bra back on? Even though my surgeon said I'm ready, I don't think ny boobs are really :( x

Re: wired bras ouch!!
I didn't wear wires until 3 months, and they were uncomfy for a while then. It's fine to put your sports bra back on until you feel like trying wires again, no rush x

I'm six months post op and still don't wear wires all the time. Putting my sports bra on at the end of the day is a massive relief sometime x x

Re: wired bras ouch!!
I was 3 months post-op when I got the all clear babe and my boobs weren't ready. Same as many women's too so don't think you're alone is this hun, its VERY common.
I just built the time up over months till I was able to wear a seared bra all day and night if that's what I chose to day, but do listen to your body and if your uncomfortable, pop your sportsbra back on and try and again the next day and just keep trying over longer periods as time goes on and you'll soon get there. There's no rush now you have the choice is there. Xxx

There was a time, when I wouldn't be seen without my beloved padded bra, now I can't wait to take the dam bra off!! I'm getting used to wearing wires slowly, I wear wires to work (part timer) then sport bra at home! I also carry a sport bra in my bag in case I get to uncomfortable. :-)

Oh tink, that was my first proper bra purchase! So comfy, didn't even know I was wearing a bra. But it is good to get back into the sports bra!

Re: wired bras ouch!!
I had a re-op to pull righty down, I was cleared for wires at 6 weeks but I wore wires for a morning came home took it off and my implant had seemed to have shot back up again!!
I don't think that the pocket had compleatly sealed at at the top as it seems to have gone back down again after me wearing my sports bra and strap for an hour or so?!?!
Any ideas girls!!!!? Xx

Re: wired bras ouch!!
I'd suggest you contact your surgeon lovely. They may suggest you remain in your sports bra for a while longer. Xx
Re: wired bras ouch!!
Once you've got used to wires again, they'll be fine. I found them quite painful at first if worn longer than an hour
Re: wired bras ouch!!
Maybe its the type of bra. I can't wear anything that's high boned between the cleavage. Its got to be fairly low.
I wore my bra from 4pm till 1am on Friday. No problems at all apart from how bouncy they were lol
