Re: July Buddies.
Thanks princessmummy, glad u having a deserved break. I thought I was getting antibiotics and then they didn't give me any! Of god hope I don't get infections. I had cut right down on my pain killers, but back on the combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen today!
I know I think ppl think boob Job and imagine massive boobs but it's not as we still want to look natura and we are all squished in sports bras. I was wearing a sports bra that made them look pointy yesterday! Back in my shock absorber now though and much better.
Have a lovely time away hun. I would love see ur pic trail. Have u seen mine, shall I pm u? Xxx

Glad it's not just me, I think ppl think of boob jobs as massive really obviously augmented boobies.
At least we know the boobies are ours and not just padding!!!

Re: July Buddies.
Have fun with your friends later Specialkj! I have your pictrail details, have you updated? I am hoping the nurse will take some pics for me when she removes my dressings today so will message you details when I get back.
I have my first wound check today, can already see that I have yellow bruising running along each incision so I am fully prepared for frankenboobs! Well as prepared as I can be!
Had a nice weekend at the caravan and can honestly say that this recovery/healing process has been a lot easier than the first time so far!

Re: July Buddies.
Nice to hear from u, so glad ur recovery is loads better this time, and ur caravan hol was nice.
I haven't updated my trail, perhaps I'll do some pics today to see if any different. Think main difference is a bigger belly from all my recovery eating!
Good luck with ur wound check. Mine is Wednesday. Mine have given me no probs so far so wish could just leave them alone!
The yellow may be the iodine they rubbed on u, I had a lot of yellow where my drains were,
I'd love see ur pics hun. Xxx

Re: July Buddies.
Glad everyone is doing well - im off for a Great British holiday now with the kids!
Im hoping whilst im away that my babies will relax and stop being so sensitive/tender - im not taking any medication its just getting a little annoying now!
Also gotta try and hide them from my 13yr old step son whilst away, as we dont have a good relationship with his mother and its just another thing she can pick at.
Wishing you all the best with healing until i'm back (i'll still be popping in on my phone lol) xxxx

Re: July Buddies.
I have some yellow on my dressings too, looking at my pics from when I got back to my room after the op they look totally white? Maybe it takes a while for the iodine to discolour them. Mine are not wet though and no blood on them, having my wound check on Wednesday and keeping my fingers crossed for the all clear for a shower, feeling minging
Hope you ladies are recovering well x

Re: July Buddies.
Check-up went ok, the nurse just changed my dressings for me, the yellow is bruising, my leftie is more bruised than rightie but the nurse was happy with them. She took a couple of pictures for me which look a bit scary, they looked a lot less daunting in real life lol. I am feeling quite happy with my scars at the moment and the nurse said they will change again before next week's appointment when we remove the dressings for good!
Enjoy your break cheekychickan! Hope you feel less tender soon!
Specialkj - I will PM you a bit later

Re: July Buddies.
I had my first check up today, stitches were taken out of my boobs and belly button. All looked very good and I can now have a shower at last. The nurse was very pleased with how much they have dropped. I have been given dressings for the next 7 days which I can change myself. I don't need to go back now until 6 weeks x
I'm glad that everyone is doing well, have a happy holiday cheekychicken x

Waterproof dressings? I'm sooo jealous right now. I've moved my wound check from Thursday to tomorrow so hoping for a shower tomorrow night :-)

Re: July Buddies.
I feel so bad as I could shower from day 1, they made me at hospital. It's so weird as is unheard of, think place I went is only place that does it! It has helped my recovery, getting out as don't feel as minging as would without a shower. I really really feel for u having to wait. Xxxxx

Yes It must be one of the only ones as I've not heard of that before, great idea though and I agree it would help recovery. I suppose it would help you recover quicker too as you would have to wash yourself so your joints dont stiffen up. My left arm is useless at the minute as I've not been using it xx

Re: July Buddies.
Had my check up today. Nurse said no infection and stitches have dissolved. She said usually you cut the ends off but I had none to cut offs had a brief look at the incision marks in a mirror but couldn't really tell how the seemed. May have another nosey tonight. I am finally allowed to shower. Too tired tonight though so will have one tomorrow. She said I was still swollen a bit on with side. The nurse also commented that they felt quite soft! Checkup booked for 11th Sept with my surgeon. Xx
