Hi Ladies, i hope someone can shed some light. I thought i had some tenting developing (after 5months?) but im not sure that's what it is because its not in between the breast where the skin has pulled away from the chest wall is higher than in the cleavage area - if you were looking at a clock it would be around the 10 to 10 direction and only on my right breast! Has anyone had this?? it means i dont have a smooth curve on the inside of the breast and looks like a bubble effect - i cant show cleavage as i think it looks really odd - not happy Skin rising just above the cleavage area 683465 any info is welcome xx

Hi Cookie, no i dont think the breast is rising, its still the same level as the other and the scar is still in the crease - if anything i thought that that breast had dropped softened and fluffed a little in the last few weeks - the skin has definitely risen from the bone, its about an 1 inch round. I can smooth it down and it goes for a while and if i stick my chest out and shoulders back it almost disappears but i cant go round sticking my boobs in peoples faces all day!!!

It does sound like tenting babe. It generally happens across the sternum, but this could continue to the top part of the breasts also... You have your six month consultation coming up soon so if it hasn't settled by then do being it up with your surgeon babe and tell him you're not happy with the look you have there.

I did have some tenting too, but mine was to the bottom part of the cleavage and up through the middle. This lasted for about 7 or 8 months, but over that time the middle bit did settle down. I still have a little tenting at the bottom of the breast, but nothing I feel would warrant a re-op for. It doesn't bother me at all.

But if yours is still there when you see your surgeon hun and if you don't have a 6 month appointment, do make one babe, so you can discuss the problem then and see what your surgeon advises babe. Hopefully it will have settled down by then though fingers crossed

Next week I think? Can't say I'm 100% happy and have a kind of bubble to the bottom of rightie, but if I'm honest with you Jogo, after 3 surgeons and 4 surgeries I've come to have enough of Transform and will live with what I have until I next need to replace implants and then I have the surgeon in mind who will do the surgery and I'll get him to sort everything out then - I don't think myself, my husband or my kids could go through another surgery surgery again... Well not until its absolutely necessary. Xx

Tenting is a swelling across the sternum babe. Its the skin between your cleavage. After surgery it can commonly become raised. Not so common that it lasts as long as Jogo and mine went on for but it is very common hun and does generally settle down as the swelling subsides - our boobs can take anything up to a year or more to fully heal though.
