Hospital bag help??
Morning ladies,
I have 13days to go and I'm unsure what to take to hospital with me.
I'm wondering if any post Ba ladies have any advice with regards to pillows? Clothes to wear home, magazines etc.
Also, I've never been in hospital for an operation in fact the only time I was in hospital was to have my baby girl and I'm worried about how I will feel after the op. I'm having a Ba and lift and I'm having this regular dream that I'm going to wake up beside myself in pain.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a wimp and most of you ladies seem to deal with post op amazingly I just want to b as prepared as I can be
Help advice please. X

Re: Hospital bag help??
Hi angie, there is a sticky on here that gives you info on what to take in your bag. Definatly get yourself a v pillow, mine has been a god send when using to prop myself up at night in bed.
You probably wont use most of the stuff that you take. Get yourself a few zip/button up tops which will save your from stretching your arms too much x

There's a list around here somewhere I'm sure someone will be able to link it shortly. I didn't take pillows and wore my pjs home, was too out of it to read magazines but do take em to pass the time.
I've just had an uplift and ba, the only time I'd be in hospital before was tonsils out lol the pain isn't unbearable, the nurses and anesthetiser will keep you covered for after the op. Try not to worry and enjoy it, it's nearly your turn yay! Xx

Re: Hospital bag help??
I forgot to take a dressing gown and slippers/flip flops. Silly me! Hospital gowns obviously have a big hole in the back and uggs aren't appropriate for surgery! S don't forget them and def invest in a v pillow. Other than that its normal stuff for an overnight stay x
