Sutures
Ladies I need some advice, I have spoke to the clinic who told me its up to myself if I want to have normal sutures or absorbent ones. What do you all think? Is there a better one healing wise to go with? Or does it not really matter??

Re: Sutures
Not really sure on this lovely, i have the dissolvable ones. Ever had stitches before? I have had normal ones before and must say i didn't much enjoy having them taken out so glad to have these ones this time x
Re: Sutures
Generally dissolvable stitches are used when having a BA. These are use because apposed to normal stitches they leave no scar where the stitch was.
Normal stitches are fine but if they're used on the top layers of the skin they could leave little marks of scar were they were placed and these stitches need to be removed.
I can no longer have dissolvable stitches because its been found that I have an allergy to them so have no choice when I have my next surgery but to have normal stitches. I've been told though that they can stitch the lower layers of skin for me with normal stitches and use glue over the top.
Its up to you babe.... There's nothing wrong with dissolvable and this is normally what's always used. Xx

Ooh I would definatly have dissolveable ones if there was a choice. That way you don't have to have them removed! X

Re: Sutures
I'm quite anxious about my scars. Curious to find out where exactly they are on my boob but also don't really want to see them because they're hurting so much i think something must be wrong even tho i know they're fine cos my bandages are clear x
