Re: uplift completed
I took arnica after my BA and uplift but that was because my surgeon recommended that I took it 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery. Follow the advice of your surgeon as they dont all recommend that you take it. I'd give your clinic a ring if you fancy trying it.

Re: uplift completed
I've taken arnica for one surgery and not taken it for another babe... There was no difference at at all in my healing. I bruised like a peach regardless.
There's nothing at all medically proven that arnica does actually have any healing properties at all. Some surgeons recommend the homeopathic remedies others not.... But if you feel you're doing OK and haven't been instructed to take it by your clinic hun, I personally wouldn't bother. From my own experience it doesn't work. But its up to you lovely if you'd like to try it.
Ice packs will help any swelling you have. Only place over the tops of your boobs though away from any stitches. They really do help and if you've no icepacks a bag of frozen peas/corn/rice will do hun.
Take it easy for a couple of days but do make sure you're mobile taking a little walk around the house every so often, or if you feel good having a little potter around the house won't hurt you babe and when you feel able, getting yourself out for a walk in the fresh air will do you the world of good babe.
Congrats on the lift hunny and I hope its enough for you and you're happy without the implants but if not.... Implants it is and we'll help guide you long the way gorgeous.
Happy healing!

Sooooo good to read you feeling so much hun. Its amazing what a difference a week makes isn't it!
Really feel for you having a reaction to the dressings babe, I did too and got horrible blisters it was so sore. But soon cleared up after they removed as I'm sure yours will too. Xxx

Re: uplift completed
Its like 2 different operations hun and your boobs heal at different rates so sometimes one can look bigger or rounder or higher than the other... just give it time for the healing to take place but as you said everyone has one slightly bigger than the other and even with surgery its very hard to get perfect symmetry.

Re: uplift completed
I had an uplift and BA and I was told I would lose about a cup size from the uplift but I guess it depends on how much skin you have taken away!

Re: uplift completed
I actually increased 2 cup sizes and that's with a smaller implant too!
Breast surgery isn't an exact science babe and often there's just no way of knowing what you're going to get, but as long as they 'look good' that's all that matters really isn't it hun. Xx

Re: uplift completed
Congrats on the op! I didn't take Arnica and didn't really have any bruising.. I had one bigger than the other for quite a while after surgery but now they are both around the same size.... once you are a few weeks in everything will become easier and they will look much better so don't panic in the early days lots of changes to come xx
