my top ribs are aching right beneath my bra strap. i never had this before with my b/a s. unless it's because i have overs this time.
i'm just curious if anyone else had this too?

Hi,the only thing i can think of is that it might be some bruising coming out and thats what you can feel,because mine felt sore for a while around my side where my ribs are.How are you getting on with them?are you enjoying having the size you wanted?They look fantastic in your pic x

Yes I had that and 8 weeks after ba still feel a bit sore on my ribs - its all normal healing! Btw you look fab in your pic!

Mine seems to be more if I wear an underwire - I think it might be coz the bra sits lower down than it did before ba? not sure! I am a 30dd/e but mainly wearing 32d or sometimes a dd - I don't think they look that big in clothes but when I saw my ps last week he showed me my before pics ( I don't have any!) and I was shocked how teeny they were before!! Hope your ribs feel a bit better soon,

I had/have it too honey, I am nearly 3 months post op, some days more noticable than others. Can be quite tender at times and bra aggravates it too!!!! x

My ribs hurt under my left boob and round the side and back of my ribs. They were really bad last week but touch wood, they are fine now.

well looks like this is a common thing then. funny because i never got it when i had my unders done.
oh well i feel better now at least i know it will go eventually.

I still have it....Soo pleased you posted this AK!!

I am a very boney frame, thought it was that, But, I have come to the conclusion that my boobs.... are now further down my body :suspect:

I had the rib pain too... it definitely lasted quite a while... I began to wonder whether my surgeon had stood on my chest and put the implants in with a tyre lever! Hysterical

lol yeah that's exactly how mine feels just now angelpie. at first i thought it must be the bra, but the it doesn't even touch where it's sore.
good to know it will go eventually though.

I have this pain on my top ribs on the right too .. I am guessing it is to do with the incision and internal bruising etc. I have noticed that my right side scar is quite a lot longer than my left and therefore that boob seems more sore and swollen than the other so maybe this is also something to do with it .. glad to hear that others have had this too .. one less thing for me to worry about !!!

I had rib pain as well. Felt like they were really bruised, and everytime i stretched they hurt. All ok now though.
