things I can do 2 weeks post-op!
I thought I'd list (for laughs or for interest for April/ May buddies) - the things I can now do that I couldn't a few days ago...
I have been unfortunate and really 'felt' this surgery - and although I am healing wonderfully, I was in pain for longer than most and am still celebrating the little things I can now do, like:
-get up slowly out of bed without help.
-chop veg and cook a meal.
-drive.
-get my tops on by myself.
-walk into town and manage a coffee for an hour.
I am SO glad I have allowed 3 weeks of quiet time to recover and get back on my feet. The first 2 have been very slow, but now I feel I have a life ahead of me with a bust (as opposed to being very much in the moment and trying to breathe through it)!
I have loved every minute of this journey so far - including the pain because it was my body saying hello to my new boobies

Blueeyedsoul - dont worry. I'm on day 14 today and have had a pretty normal day. I'm not working but could if it was a non-physical job that allowed me to sit if I need to gather myself. I spent a couple of hours with friends in a coffee shop & was tired with aching boobs by the end of it, but I'm not taking any meds & could've taken some paracetamol if I was at work/ needed to.
I think most ladies have been back to normal sooner - which is why I posted, just to share another experience.
