When do they feel like part of you?
Hey girls,
As you know, I'm two weeks post op now, and I know it's early days... I'm just wondering when my new boobs will start to feel like my own..??
To explain it, it currently feels like I'm living 24/7 with rice-test-boobs! They're there, on my chest, & I'm always aware of them... but they're not part of me...
So, for girls that are further along than me, does this feeling fade..? & if so, are we talking weeks/months/years..?
Xx

Re: When do they feel like part of you?
Hi hun, i'm 7 weeks po and they're still not 100% feeling like that for me, it must be different for everyone, but for me im still aware they're implants as they're sensitive.
But when i was 2 weeks po like you they really didnt feel like mine so it has gotten better. I'm not constantly aware of them on my chest like i was earlier post op. So i will say it does get better x

Mine feel 100% real and part of me, i forget theyre not real as they look & feel it. Feels like theyve always been there. Felt like this for a good couple of months now so its early days for you xx

Mine feel more like me now I'm a good few months PO.
I think it took about 2 months for them to settle and feel like mine. Some girls bond with them instantly, but for me they felt 'strange' for about two months.
Even now I sometimes still can't believe they're mine!

Mine felt like they'd always been there pretty quickly...about 4-6 weeks as far as I remember.
But yeah, I think it's a very personal thing :)

I feel like they're mine now, but am still aware that there are implants. I can still feel that there is an implant in there if that makes sense.

Re: When do they feel like part of you?
Hiya, wen i had my first op i was constantly looking at them and was aware of them. I w showing them to evryone (that i knew!lol) as they were "mynew implants". It was around 2-3 months post op that they started to feel like "my boobs" an i go more protective over them, stopped flashing them basically! And i stopped being s awar of them.
This time, even though im only 1 day post o, they already fee lke m boobs! Probs coz im used to the weight of them now etc x
