1st checkup appt THG-pain in the ass!
Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with THG aftercare.??
Ive spent 2 days trying to book my 1st post op appt.
Spent all day calling them and even gave them my email address for a time on Tuesday.
Once again no response via phone or email.Really starting to worry about this because its so important to make sure all is fine.
Anyone else had these issues.
Thanks
Kenzie

That's really not good lovely. Have you tried calling their main desk?
If they suggest someone calls you back say no, you just need your wound check and want a date to be able to come in. They have access to the calendar and WILL be able to do this for you hun so don't stand any messing out them or accept the 'call back' excuse. Xx

I went with THG and my 7 day post op appt was made for me when I had my pre-op.. they'd got the dates mixed up and the nurse wasn't in on the day they gave me so they called me to rearrange but no problems. What did they say when you rang? x

Re: 1st checkup appt THG-pain in the ass!
Yesterday the nurse was "very busy" but an email was sent to her.
Today they had never ending IT issues....Which shouldnt effect a company all day....So im not impressed.I called all the way up to 5pm...
Not sure if they are open tomorrow but i will be calling...ive had constant issues getting appointments with them from the start.
Luckily everything is looking good but i still want the prof ok and the aftercare ive paid for.

Princess was quite right in saying you should have been made a appointment for your first wound check at your pre-op by your nurse. That's normally the way things work.
I doubt the clinic will be open tomorrow hun, but don't panic because wound checks aren't done until a week to ten days post-op, so you have time to get it sorted. I know that's not the point but relax this weekend hun and focus on your healing and first thing Monday, give them a call, if they still evade making you n appointment tell them you'd like to speak with the clinic manager babe. Xx

By the time they're back open again (Tuesday), you'll be 8 days post op so this is really wrong of them!x

Oops! Its bank holiday isn't it you're still within the time period to be seen for a wound check though hun so DON'T PANIC! I'm sure you'll be seen hun but this hasn't been fair to you at all to have to sort out for yourself and not at all the service you expect from a private clinic, so do be sure to log a complaint also. Xx

I will def be logging a complaint...i cant believe they are happy to leave someone whos post op with no guidance or support. Its not good enough.
Ill chill out for the weekend,no point in stressing over bank holiday but god help them.lol
Ive already moaned at their crappy receptionist lol
Thanks Girls
