Bruises Empty Bruises

I am 4 days post BA now and I took my sports bra off last night for the first time since leaving hospital and was shocked by the massive yellow bruises on my sides under my armpits. Is this normal?
I have a small amount on my cleavage and none on my boobs its just round the side, its also a little swollen but I guess that's to be expected.
Let me know if you have had the same.

hi hun,

i'm still pre BA so can't really help but from all that I've read here it sounds very normal! Obviously everyone has the tendency to bruise differently, but yellow should mean its already fading away, so I'm sure that in a week it'll be gone.

I'm sure one of the post op girls will be along shortly with some more reassurance x

On this topic - for anyone else who didn't know - my PS just told me to stop taking my multi vitamins as they can make the bruising worse!

Very normal babe... The yellow bruising indicates that they're getting better and are from a couple of days ago. They aren't fresh bruises that have suddenly appeared. Xx
