Cold 5 days before BA

I never get ill but here I am with my BA and uplift on Thursday and I've got the poxy flu!! Praying that I get better xx

Aww Hun x lots of hot lemon and honey, keep warm and rest! I have an awfull cough and cold on my BA day! As long as your temp is fine and you don't have an infection your surgery will go ahead x no other medication and natural vitamin C, so look after yourself Huni xx

Good advise there from Lisa babe - get those natural vitamins Down ya! They'll do you the world of good.

As long as its not 'actual flu' you have (have you been diagnosed with flu?) you'll be fine babe. Xx

thanks ladies, I'm going to make sure that I have loads of rest over the next few days

I havent been diagnosed with the flu hun currently have the symptons, hope rest and natural vitamins will get be back to normal health before thursday xxx

If you feel you have 'flu' lovely rather than a cold then its not just going to go away, so it would be best if you see your GP as soon as possible for a diagnosis. Flu takes weeks to get over and you really don't want to be having major surgery if you have flu lovely... Not only that if you have flu and go to hospital you risk infecting other women as its highly contagious babe and any infection in your body runs the risk of rejection of the implant sweetheart.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but if you DO think its actual flu you have coming on rather than a cold, do get checked out now sweetie and keep your clinic informed. Xx

Ive got my ba in 10 days and I've had a cold since Monday and its only just going. Get plenty of rest and fluids. Hope you get better soon x x

Woken up today and feel a million times better! I think all I needed was a good sleep - its done me a world of wonders.

Same happened to me! It seems quite common actually. I was a tiny bit blocked on day of op but all was fine. I did rest alot and drunk lots of orange juice :) xx
