Feeling implant edges - lost weight Empty Feeling implant edges - lost weight

Post by 5stonedown 7th March 2013, 10:48 pm

I have lost about 9lb since my BA and I cant see the edges of my implants but I can really feel the lower edge of them now. I have always felt the edges in my cleavage but I cant REALLY feel the bottom edges... so much so that if I lean over I can literally grasp the bottom edge of the implant with my finger an thumb and can feel the gel moving inside. Is this normal considering the fact I have lost weight?? I have overs by the way!

Hiya - I was told losing up to a stone is fine.. but my implants are only 230cc. Overs too.
I am hoping to lose about a stone and really don't want it to be obvious!
Maybe bring up with your surgeon and see what he suggests? xx

i've read that it's best to stay within 7lbs either way of the weight you were at time of op as anything over this can compromise results - maybe you've just lost a wee bit too much? x

Unfortunately with weight loss it can come off the parts where we don't want to lose it. It can reduce the fatty tissue covering the implant making them feel or look more obvious. It depends how much tissue you have as to how much you can afford to lose. For some it may be half a stone for others more or less. It's always best to try to maintain your weight but of course with life and stress it's not always that easy.
