Macon & how long?
Morning ladies, how ru all?
So I think I have decided to go with
the Macom post surgery as I like the reviews & the fact you don't
need to go via cup size. But I am also looking to wear the triumph
triaction extreme as also recommended on here when everything has kinda
settled down. How long would you advise I would need to be in the macom
for before being able to change, or do you think I can go straight into
the triumph?
I know everybody is different and heals differently but as a rough guide anything would be great.
Also
I am going to London for the day 3wks post op and will be staying the
night do you think this is too early to be going on 'jollys!?'
I can't believe how quick this is coming round xxxx

You can wear the triumph as straight away, you may feel the Macom more comfy or vice versa as long as its high impact sports bra which the triumph is and Macom specialist post surgery bra then both are fine. You may favour one over the other.
3weeks post op should be fine for a day out hunny. X just no carrying loads of shopping bags xx

The triumph is overhead isn't it? Thats all I'm worried about but if I can wear straight away then I might just go for it. If I'm hoping for a D shall I go for a D & DD bra plus up one strap size? xxx

No it's a back fastening one I know a few girls have used them .
Always get a a back fastening or a m&s front zip up one.
I'd get your regular back size and a d/dd and use bra extenders to save on buying another bra a few weeks after once the swelling goes down. Xx

No worries Hun, it'll be fine, any bras you don't wear don't remove the labels and just take them back x bra extenders can be bought for very cheap on eBay btw , x

Re: Macon & how long?
that's an awesome price
I was told not to buy a sports bra as they will fit me into one immediately post op but i did decide to buy a macom. I'm going to buy a triumph as well but will leave that until 1-2 weeks post op as i genuinely have no idea what size i'll be :P

HI I am in a dilemma about this too! Was about to buy the mns zip up sports bra in the sale as recommended on Monday, (they look fab!) but then just couldnt figure out the right size! Was thinking of getting that bra in a larger size for the post op swelling as it was down to £18, then buy 2 macoms in a small for all future use (eg bedtime wearing). My husband put me off in the end and said just to buy 2 small macoms and 1 medium, as were are already spending so much might as well get the bras my ps recommends lol! x

Re: Macon & how long?
I was going to buy the macom for the 1-2 wks post op & I might still if I can find a cheapy one but if I can get away wit goin straight into the sports bra &find it comfy then tats a bonus. I just cudnt miss out on the price of these bras as this is even cheaper then the debenhans sale & M&S, plus 90 days returns is pretty good &goes way pass my surgery day.
I can't believe how many surgeons say different things, my surgeon just told me to get a decent sports bra & I will b fine.

Re: Macon & how long?
I wasn't told to get a macom but i decided too after reading recommendations on here. I would have bought sports bras but I emailed my surgeon asking for an estimate size to buy and was told not to bother as they'll fit me post op sooooooo yah lol thats why i got the macom because then it caters to any cup size otherwise i'd have to go out and buy like 6 different sports bras in the hope that 1 was gona be the right size :p x
