First day back at work - done!!!
Hey girls had my first day back in the office today and it wasn't too bad.. Walked home which is 35 mins and must admit I am done in now.
Shoulders are killing me did anyone else have that? Keep trying to remember posture but think its natural for the body to hunch slightly to protect the area.
Also sleeping on my back means loads of twinges and back ache when I wake up.. Can't wait to sleep on side again although not sure when I can?
Other than that going well!! Am loving my new boobs so far although they still taped up on the scars.. 1 day at work down 4 to go! Xxx

Re: First day back at work - done!!!
Hi rubylilly, how much time off did you have? I'm worrying about this. I have my own hair and beauty salon. I only do hair. I don't know how much time to book off . I'm also really into my fitness and am worrying about this. I do classes at gym, weights and lots of running. I'm going to miss this so much. Any advice much appreciated.

Hey - I booked off 10 days then worked another week from home so 2.5 weeks off work total.. And I needed it. I had an uplift and bA though - what sort of op are you having?
I must admit that first week back I was so tired and I sit at a desk mainly.
I used to do yoga 3 times a week and horseriding and I haven't gone back to either yet.. But as I said an uplift is more invasive and a bigger op xx

Just a breast enlargement, I'm just awaiting my first consultation. I know when my work colleague had hers done she had just over a week, but did think she came back too soon. I will see what consultant says. As for all my fitness it's going to be hard. You did we'll to go back to work when you did. Happy healing.... Bet it's all worth I!!!

Re: First day back at work - done!!!
You should be fine to try and gently start sleeping on your side now Ruby. Use your V-pillow and position it so you cuddle and create a hold for your boob to drop into so the bottom boob isn't getting any pressure on it. A pair of soft rolled socks or a rolled face flannel between your boobs also helps with the transition hun. If you just can't get comfortable or find it aches at all then go back to your back for a week and then try again lovely. But at 6 weeks post-op I can't see you having any problem whatsoever and can't believe you've managed to remain on your back this long!
Glad your first day back went well hun. Xx
