Re: Back to work
If you want to play it safe, I've opt for 2 weeks.
The majority of women do reach a turning point after around a week post-op, so if you're just doing light duties then a week off may be fine, but that doesn't apply to all women, for some they take a little longer to heal and need that extra week off to recover, so its difficult to say what you'd need.
As your job is light duties, I'd maybe suggest you self certify for the first week and see how you get on and if you don't feel up to going back after the first week you can always then get your GP to sign you off for the second. After that you should be fine. Xx

Where's your ticker Navenka? You NEEEEEEED a ticker! lol.
Have a look [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to see how to add one.
You don't have to if you don't want to lol. It just adds to your excitement I think as you watch the ticker get closer to your day!

Re: Back to work
I do pharmacy work too Navenka, I'm worried about how long to have off work as all of drugs are in drawers rather than shelves and pulling them out is going to be a nightmare! Xx

Re: Back to work
I went back after a week and that's when I started driving again. I work in an office. I've had a really easy recovery though. I took 10 days off but then when it came time to book my surgery I couldn't get the exact date that I wanted so I had no choice but to go back on day 7. I would recommend 10 days to be on the safe side x
