swooshing/slushing/bubbling sound??
Hello, I'm on my 3rd day post op and my boobs have dropped a bit this morning and the swelling has gone right down and i can now feel them as they were completely numb the last 2 days.
On my right when i put my arm down i head like a bubbling liquid sound, I tried pressing the side of my right armpit kind of area and heard it again but havn't heard it since. My meeting with my surgeon is a week today and I don't know whether he has to drain anything or what happens I just wondered if it's ok to have heard a swooshy liquid sound in my boob :pale:

Ahhh... the incredible "farting boob syndrome"!! Don't worry honey it's all perfectly normal. If you have a read back through the posts in this section you'll see a lot of girls experience this.

Re: swooshing/slushing/bubbling sound??
Its just fluid build up around the implant which is normal, especially if you didnt have drains x
Re: swooshing/slushing/bubbling sound??
lol! farting boob, love it. I have just heard the same noise around my tummy aswell so i dunno if it's just the painkillers making my stomach all gassy.
ahh i dunno if i had drains or not actually. So will I just have to leave it or does the fluid have to be drained?

If you did have drains, you would've known so you probably didnt. They would've been attached to each breast with a tube and bottle at the end, and they pull them out before you leave. The swelling should go down in a couple of weeks x

I know it feels odd but within a week or less it will stop ... i was lying in my hopsital bed the night after my op and i could hear this really loud "whooshing" noise. it took me several hours to realise the noise was coming from my boobs! - fair enough i was on quite a lot of pain killers!
