Trust me, I am one week post op now and it only seems like yesterday that I booked my consultation. One week will fly by and then you will have brand new babies xx

Can't believe it's gone so fast I kind of feel sad. Lol I want my ba day back! (Was only a week today) The build up and excitement is kind of addictive x now it's gone haha x a week will fly by blondeboms enjoy it all x good luck x

What have I missed? anything interesting? Good luck to anyone whos having their BA's soon. I really cant believe that Im 3 weeks post op come wednesday, where has the time gone? Im really sad my journey is coming to an end!
Ive been clothes shopping today, I got quite a few bits but this hideous sports bra has done me no favours what so ever. Roll on 3 weeks, Ill see my surgeon and hopefully get the go a ahead for wires
Hope the ladies who have had their BA's recently are healing well. I must say your avis are all looking hot, hot, hot!!! x

The sides of my boobs are numb still but are so so sore and stingy to touch and it's bugging me x :,( not sure how to relieve the pain! It's not terribly painful more stingy and annoying x don't know what to try?! Pain killers aren't really working. Don't have the strong ones anymore and chemists are closed now anyway x Any suggestions would be great x and all post op ladies did you feel this same sensation? X stinging and sore really tender on the sides of boobs x

Ahh I can't keep up with my April Buddies but its nice to see lots of new Avis...makes me even more excited to be post op!!! 8 more sleeps and I'll be in boobieville Hope everyones healing is going well!! xx

Lottie, antihistamines will help with the stinging. Anything like prition will really ease the stinging hun. It will subside in a few days, then you wont even notice your boobies being there .

Thats how I felt. I was so calm on my day, my fiancee was more nervous. He went so white when I was being walked down to theatre lol. Its such a brilliant day, Im sad mine is over! x

well I have just stood with a black bin bag and binned everyone of my bras!!!! Kept 2 for traveling and the underwear set I wore when I got married. Goodbye big bulky padded gel filled bras!!!

Feel like I should be feeling better not worse, day7 today and had a really easy week didn't have any pains really or problems now I'm soooo stingy and sore and very tender feel like I won't be wanting to go bk to work on Wednesday x just had a little cry!!! Maybe I'm just feeling sorry for myself x this stingy feeling is probably the worst, (tops and sides of my boobs) and my sides are swollen I think I need a bigger bra as my sides are swollen x boo hoo!!! I have had an easy time of it otherwise x just swollen morning cleavage boobs and had a little stiffness, can wash my hair and do everything just as normal x nothing was that hard for me to do this past week x but today day 7 has been the worst :( hope I'm just having a bad day xxx

Aww lottie that's a shame! Stinginess can't be nice! What about ice packs? If it makes u feel better every one of ur Avis have been boobalicious gorgeous! Hoping u get back on track with ur easy recovery before work on wed! I can empathise as I feel totally fine although being careful, I would be gutted too to suddenly feel pain/ stinging or whatever. Just log on here n vent away if it helps!!!! X

Loclo I am sad mine is over in a way too! It has been really special! And all the better for being here! It is nice to be properly fixed up though. Tired of 'taking it easy'.

Can't believe it is Dora tomorrow......I also can't believe our month is almost up!

Glad to hear you are all doing well (although I feel for you Lottie - may be you are just doing too much and need to rest up a bit?)

I am doing well - I have been able to sleep well and been out and about (sea side on Sat and the Zoo on Sunday). I have a bit of soreness in my left breast that seems to still be quite swollen and sometimes it stops me from being able to move my arm, but i just pop a pain killer and it subsides - other than that i've had no real pain and been able to get on with things as normal.

I'm finding it really hard to look at myself naked at the moment though - I feel very flabby and although I do like my new boobs, I am just trying to ignore they are there until I have my 2 week check. I've read so much about people worrying about the size/shape/profile I am just not going to indulge myself.... I can see when I look that i could see things that could get me worried so I'm just going to strap them up and let them heal and do their thing. Feels very strange that they are numb though - I am going to really struggle with that if I dont get the feeling back in them.

Anyway Dora best of luck and Ballet Babe your Avi is AMAZING!!

Hi girls, I went back to work today, mostly office based so not strenuous but it's only now I realise how many blooming doors I have to open to get into the office and how heavy they are, some I can push open with my bum which may do me a favour in the long run as long as no one notices and starts asking me why!

Also got my dressings removed today and am amazed how neat the scars are I'm so pleased about them.

Guard I admire your willpower not looking at your boobs, that's a great attitude to take and I'm sure you don't look flabby at all, I've been taking some pictures to see how I change and Said to my sister the other day I should have got something done to my neck at the same time as my boobs. Hope your recovery continues well.

Hope your feeling better today Lottie and Ballet & Hexxi are enjoying their recovery, that Avi looks fab Ballet by the way you must be so happy.

Hi Girls! I really am missing all the April chit chat! I will def be making up for it as have two weeks off work. Only at work tomorrow, then have my pre op wednesday and friday I'll be catching the train to Boobie land! My mum sent my a boobie parce full with magazines & chic! Did scoff a bit of the choc!

Did anyone massage the their boobs or apply oil pre BA?

Guard I think I am going to be really strong and not peek until I go for a post op check. Will this be around the week mark? Sure I won't follow this through! I'm so so worried i'll wake up and think i've saved 5 grand and still not happy! He did assure me they will settle a little quicker as the implants are smaller and won't stretch everything so much. But we naturally think the worst! still have the 240cc & 270cc dilemma, they will squash under the muscle confused! will have a chat friday, keep reminding myself to go with him - he's the EXPERT!

My day is Friday the 26th, is anyone else going round then?

Hi Melstar - I am not seeing my PS again until 2 weeks post op (30th April). I have just have a shower and a quick look and then back in my sports bra and on with the day. My OH has a little squeeze of the top of them and thats about as much interest as they get at the moment - although happy to report he said they feel like 'normal' boobs tonight!

Anyone watch Broadchurch tonight? So glad it wasnt and awful ending - really enjoyed it although had a little cry at the end for poor Danny and Ellie (I know... I really need to get a life!)

2 weeks is a long time to try not to have the big reveal! were you happy when you had a little peek? It's the frakenboob i'm worried about! Do you have dressings just under on your scars or more? Good news on the feel!

I have watched Broadchurch, Have wanted do. Have a few series i'm going to watch in my time off - that's on the list and Downtown Abbey! I'm racking them up!

Morning all, I watched broad church too. Guard your not alone I had a little cry too lol the advice on here has been invaluable, I'm sitting here with a panty liner on my incision cause the sports bra is attacking them lol

i have sanitary towls over my dressings to! so much comfier isnt it hexxi i feel so silly though x
