2nd consultation @ Transform
CONFUSED <--------- that's an understatement!
So my original appointment for today was at The Harley Medical....but after speaking to someone who had been to Transform (and not liking having to pay £500 to see a surgeon at Harley) I decided to cancel my Harley appointment and make one at Transform.
I knew I was only going to see a PC and not a surgeon aswell like I did at THG.....She went through majority of the things I already knew...recovery time do's and don'ts etc. She then went on to talk about the implants they use which are Allergan.... Learning that there 'lifetime guarantee' is 10 years. They only had the CUI to look at and explain that they mainly use the CUI as they give a 'perkier' result.
I had both to compare at THG where as today I didnt....she then did go and get me the natrelle to compare. I'm sure when I see the surgeon there things will become clearer.
Anymore natrelle/CUI/transform info?
Thanks x

Ah hun, I'd like to help but I have mentor implants and don't know much about the ones you have been offered. I can understand how confusing its been though as it sounds very confusing!!! Do you have any other consultations lined up?xx

Re: 2nd consultation @ Transform
None others as of yet, thinking of booking a 3rd at Spire actually. I think by doing this it will make my decision easier! (I can only hope) x

She clearly doesn't have much of an idea saying CUI's are "perkier" :S it's a personal choice, I had Natrelles as I wanted the best after having PIP's and they have the extra layer and felt sturdier x

Re: 2nd consultation @ Transform
Transform buy CUIS in bulk so its cheaper for them to buy and they get a bigger profit back from selling them lovely, so being told you'll get a 'perkier' result from any implant is nothing more than 'sales talk' hun.
Its the decisions made from 'surgery' that will give you a perkier result, whether that be from having an implant or if you require a lift. The implant make isn't going to do that at all on its own!
Now... There's nothing wrong with CUIs, but it seems quite clear you were being pressurised into buying them when you were clearly requesting choice.
The CUI is a budget implant hun, the Natrelle a premium, both made by Allergan and its YOUR choice which you choose to have hun. DO NOT be swayed by sales pitches.
This is why I so clearly despise patient co-ordinators, their care is not for you, the patient, but for the company alone and how she can save them money and get a better pat on the back!

Re: 2nd consultation @ Transform
I originally booked with transform and then researched my surgeon who operated with spire and other hospitals I had my consult with him at my local Spire and knew he was for me. Researched mentor implants and was happy :-) do cancelled with transform. At the moment I couldn't be happier with my choice but guess who knows what the future holds. If your having difficulty deciding who to go with then another consultation could be the way to go :-) ESP if your not sure about implant choice-this is something going into your body after all you need to make the best choice for you :-) xx
