silly question
i no this sounds really silly but in my pre op instructions it didnt mention anything about not shaving your armpits before the op. but just been reading things on different sites n they said u cant shave 36 hours before op.

I've never heard of not shaving before. ? No fake tans etc but never heard of not shaving. x

Hmm are you having the incisions in your armpit crease? Sorry I don't know the proper term for it?! I wish I'd had mine waxed before hand I was a gorilla for a week lol! Oh how exciting!! What you having hun? Xx

You've probably been reading American sites Natalie and many of them do have armpit incision so shaving the armpit with fresh wounds on does make sense then doesn't it lovely.
Here in the UK, we have incisions in the breast crease, unless youve specifically requested it be placed through the armpit/areola/navel so this will not affect you in any way hun.
I would however personally advise anyone having a BA with a breast crease incision like we have in the UK to have your armpits waxed if you can before surgery. Right after surgery your boobs are swollen and it can sometimes make it difficult to shave. Waxing does give you more time as it takes longer for the hair to regrow, so it just helps strike off one thing that you don't have to straight away early post-op.
Its no problem if you don't wax hun, but it will help and this has nothing to do with the medical side of your surgery, its purely a cosmetic point of view. Xx

i must of been looking at american sites then. im having a uplift with 400cc implants. i think i mite go n have them waxed then.
