ok ladies, so i had my first consultation with the hospital group but wasn't too impressed, few things niggled me but mainly just didn't like the consultant.

where else do you recommend for me to try? looking pref for free consultation places and around gloucestershire.

i have one booked for spire in bristol... but is it true that they don't offer nautrelle implants? only i thought these were the best? also heard that they dont haggle on price???

please recommend me a surgery and surgeon as i want to crack on with all the comparison boring bits so i can get my boobies ;) xx if you dont mind could you tell me your stats and prices xx

The common ones i can think of are transform, mya, Harley medical, bmi, mybreast and places like that. You could google places near you.

As far I know spire do Natrelles, I was told as a standard (could be wrong) but they don't haggle on prices. They are the premium implant but not everyone decides on having them for different reasons.

I went with transform and they have been brilliant with me, I've had straight forward no problems recovery though. I paid £3745 for over night stay CUI implants. My stats etc are in my signature. There's also a thread under the surgeons and clinics section with how much people have paid for their BAs xx

Having an amazing recovery so far, a nurse has called me twice since Thursday to check I'm ok and go for my check up this weekend. They use nagor, have a very good rep, uk made etc Xx

There's transform and mya if you want to be able to haggle on price, or mybreast, bmi & spire, they use BAAPS/BAPRAS surgeons and don't haggle on price & are more expensive than transform and mya depends how important a BAAPS/BAPRAS surgeon is to you. Xx

I went with Spire hun and they were amazing! Love my surgeon and trust him 100% and loved the fact they have registered BAAPS/BAPRAS surgeons x

Also i had Natrelle's so i suppose it's just surgeons preference hunni x

In my opinion you can never put a price on a good surgeon and clinic. Although you have to pay for a consultation with Mybreast all their surgeons are BAAPS BAPRAS registered which means you get specialised surgeons in plastic surgery, the cheaper companies tend to use general surgeons, who do of course have experience but if you want the best the baaps and BAPRAS ones are the best. I believe spire also use BAPRAS baaps registered surgeons. Although spires aftercare is very short, where as Mybreast is 5 years to spires 3 months (might be a year now, I'm not sure). From being on here many years I've not seen many people with complications from baaps BAPRAS registered surgeons, however there will always be some as a complcation can happen to anyone.
I also have to say this is my humble opinion and I in no way promote any companies or surgeons and neither does this forum. Just thought I'd give you something to think over.
Ps I think Mybreasts fee is 25 quid. Some companies ask you to put down a 500 quid deposit to see a surgeon which ties you to their company. I wouldn't suggest you go to one of those companies in case you don't like them.
Most importantly research each company you see, read reviews and check their aftercare, if some complcation happens you want to make sure the aftercare covers it and also that the company has a good reputation of honouring their aftercare. Some companies have been known to close down and reopen to avoid aftercare/duty of care.

Also I picked my surgeon not the clinic, I just so happened to go with transform because that was who he worked for. I wouldn't have gone with them if I didn't trust them though. So maybe research what sort of surgeon you want first xx

Great advice! I'm booked with Simon Withey at Mybreast. I paid £25 for a first consultation. I've seen him twice more since then and was offered more appointments if I needed them. I paid £500 once I'd decided to go ahead ti secure the surgery date and I'm paying the outstanding balance this week.
I personally wouldn't even consider going with a surgeon who wasn't BAAPS or BARAPS registered. I wouldn't want anyone who wasn't at the top end of their profession coming near me with a scalpel!

Another option to consider is seeing a different surgeon in the same company. You may find them better for you. But having said that I can understand being put off the whole process by the company before you even see a surgeon, this happend to me with a company lots of people use and rate very highly.

I think the type of implant must depend on surgeons preference as I went to a spire hospital for my surgery and I have natrelle inspira implants. X

I am with spire and my friend has just had hers with spire they have been very good so far, but its down to how you feel with your surgeon and there after care. My surgeon has seen me soo many times coz im back and forth changing my mind and he has been great. I did pay £100 but didnt mind because of his experience. There are lot to think about as im learning every day.Good results are my main concerns and after care so far Spire has been amazing Post BA for her xxx

thank you all girls...

after hrs of research and experiencing a non baaps surgeon i have decided to go pay that little bit more and have an appointment with the highly recommended james mcdiarmid. (just a personal choice, im sure there are lots of great non baaps surgeons.;))

achorley... i saw Mr adriano seno... he barely looked up from his desk and was extremely brief. no interested in my preferences, even assuming i wanted rounds without asking, when i mentioned tear drop he said 'why? that is not what girls in this country want' thats a really bad assumption to make in my opinion. however, i was recommended to go there by a few girls that were really happy with other surgeons ;)

Role on feb... x
