Stitches at 6 weeks?
Strange question on the outside end of both my left and right incisions I have what feels like a tiny tiny scab in the same place. I can't see it but am I stupid in thinking the end stitches may still be there or is it just scabs?? Xx

Not stupid!
I had the same with my right, and it sorted itself out....
Sure someone else will clarify this though.

Mine rescabbed over the end of the stitch, so was a bit lumpy, the nurse took it off at one of my checks. I was surprised at how long I noticed them for. x

Will they pull them out or trim it then? It feels like a hard little whisker I didn't like them being trimmed before I had a bad experience having a cyst cut out my back where the doctor ended up blunting 3 lots of surgical scissors so anything snipping by me and I squeal lol I'm a right tit excuse the pun ha ha xx

Its probably the end knots hun which can take a long time to dissolve. When you go for your 6 week check just show your surgeon. It may be that they'll leave we'll alone, but if there's any stitches showing they may snip them for you. Xx

I didn't have mine snipped....the nurse removed the scab and it sorted itself out! As Cookie said, I'm sure it will be fine and they can look at it at you're check. x
