Sister thinks 1500cc will look ridiculous

hi all,

woke up this morning and sister started having a go at me saying I shouldn't get another boob job and I will look ridiculous. To make matters worse, she said I look like a drag queen. She said I was selfish taking out a loan and still living with parents and not contributing much.
She said she's embarrassed that her friends are on my facebook and that they have to see my pictures because she is embarrassed of me.
I had to walk out the room, I'm getting fed up x

Sometimes people say things because they are worried about us, and they think they are right, HOWEVER...... Some of those things were hurtful and should've have been said!

As long as you're sure about the size then it's your desicion! Also it's not really her place to comment on your money issues!

its awful when someone is so against my aunt was like that but in the end it was up to me its my body so i say the same to you if your happy then go gor it sometimes people get jealous and if this is what your sister is feeling of course a nasty streak will come out. hugs xx

Hi girls, thanks for your support, I really appreciate and need it at this stage in time only have just over a week until my op. i know I am going huge, but I trust my surgeon, and I really have thought about it, I know I will be more in proportion and a little top heavy which is what I wanted to achieve. I had to pad my bra the other night for my xmas party for them to look bigger...in my mind this has confirmed I am happy, don't want to pad my bras any longer.

i know she isnt jealous, she just thinks big boobs are horrible. I know its not her place to comment on my finances but she still does and its upsetting because I have sacrificed other things to be able to finance it, like driving and holidays and looking for another job until I become body happy. I want to move myself forward but can't with a negative body image..after my op its time to progress with wht I hope to achieve next.
I know having big boobs comes with it own problem...i might have problems getting a new job because ppl are so judgemental but least i know I wouldnt be happy any other way because my image has bugged me for a long time. What does upset me is I find women especially at wrk pick on me more and its upsetting and i do feel its because of this, and I have had a hard time. i am trying to remain strong regardless of wht other ppl think xxx

I feel sorry you had to take that from your sister hun... Whatever her opinion about what you want to do with your body she could have sucked it up and got on with her own life instead of giving so much thought yours babe...

As for other women picking on you.... Thankfully not all women are this way but there is always one (the ring leader) who's nastiness is like a virus that spreads and the weaker feel that if they don't follow the leader they're the next to get picked on... Hence a group of nastiness to pick on you babe...

I'm not sure how you've dealt with it before but if I've ever had a probe, with women the worst thing I find I could do is give them a reaction.

Yes, some of what is said may hurt... But if you learn to love yourself hun, you learn to let the comments fly right over your head and come to pity those that live their life under a cloud of nastiness and misery. How sad is that!

Hold your head up high hun. You may change your body to make you feel better about yourself, but unlike your sister right now and the girls that are picking on you you're not hurting anybody and that makes you a far better person than they are

If you're anything like my sister and me though, sometimes we can say hurtful thing to each other, but the next, we're the best of friends and heaven help anyone who said anything about her or me lol.

Hope you and your sister are OK babe and as for the group of hyenas.... Ignore 'em hun. You're being a better person irritates the hell out of them because quite simply, they love to be like you and because they can't, they belittle you in the hope to make themselves feel better. Xx

Hi Alice. Sorry you're feeling so upset and try not to let other people's nastines get to you. I think alot of women are threatend by women with boob jobs, because even if they don't want one themselves it can make them feel very insecure. My best friend even though very supportive of me and my 2 ba's is very anti-boob jobs. She prefers very natural look in bras herself and hates t-shirt, plunge bras. She has natural 32f's but cried when I got my ba because she said I made her feel inadequate-she still looks alot more boobier than me in her sensible bra! The main thing is that you are happy in yourself and your choice. Your avi now looks fabulous as well. I have 750cc now and dont look top heavy at all-its all to do with our different size and anatomy! Dont be sad and let people spoil your excitment of your 2nd ba. x

People have been judgmental of me and I only have 365cc implants but its times like these you know who your support chain are. You have us :)

You only have one life hun and if you try to please all people all the time, you wont please any one at all especially yourself. You should do whatever makes you happy. Ignore anyone elses negativity and surround yourself with positivity. We can't all agree, especially with our family, but we love them all the same. Take your sisters comments, with a pinch of salt, as sometimes we take our own frustrations out on those we love. She may have her own problems at the moment. As for other people, meh, ignore them. You don't tell them how to live their lives.

Everyone has their own opinions on what great boobs are, and if you are doing something that makes you happy then go for it!
Maybe your sister has been reading up on complications of larger implants and she is worried, but that does not excuse the other comments that came with it.
Maybe try and speak to her calmly and explain how she has hurt your feelings. talk about the facebook thing and ask what exactly she is embarrassed about. It sounds as if she just let rip at you and lots of things all came out at once, so maybe talking at a different time may help. I don't know how close you and your sister are, but I know with my sister we have arguments and lots of bottled up stuff comes out all at the same time.
Hope you can sort it out.

Bullys (like the women at your work) are insecure and lonely people. Don't react as Cookie said, just feel sorry for them!

Sorry to hear this hun. Some people can be so hurtful :-( at the end of the day it's your body and your choices. As long as u are happy that's all that matters. I also agree that your avi looks fab :-) keep your chin up and remember that you will never be able to please everyone but life can't be about that. Cookie thank you so much for your words of wisdom, they have helped me put things into perspective.
I have to learn not to give them a reaction, I actually did give them a reaction the other day...I went upstairs to take some time out at work before I decided to walk out...but everyone found out I went upstairs..so they knew the pressure was getting to me. the worst thing I could do I know. But now I know they want a reaction like you said I will remain calm and give nothing away.
I will love myself soon and i really can't wait to buy my first bra in february after 6 weeks and know that this is it finally. Then no one's comments will matter, i really can't wait for that day.
My sister will never change her mind so its best I not mention anything about my op to her Ive decided.

Girls thank you so much hugs going out to you all. It's the pressure of people at work giving me a hard time and family telling me I should be established with my career by now and married etc. Like I said I have sacrificed all this for my ops first because I can't focus with no confidence.
Work has been awful and unbearable at times. That's why i decided to get my tits out at the staff party..I thought you know what they make me feel better.

I am so glad you're all here supporting me, and same as me for you all.

You've all cheered me up and given me purpose to make this a week of victory right back at my bullies.
