My Boobs are 1 year old!

Hello Ladies,

I've not been on here for a very, very, long time. Life has been busy and I found it hard to keep up with you all.

I didn't realise until today that yesterday was the 1st birthday of my boobs! I felt the need to post and share a bit of my journey

I've not had a huge amount of time (young kids) to enjoy my boobs and dress up more often, or actually wear a bikini yet, which I'm going to be doing more of next year!

There has been no problems. I've had numbness under each breast above the incision line since my BA. Hoped the feeing would come back, but sadly not! It doesnt bother me anymore and I've got used it. But as far as I'm aware, it's not overally common to lose sensation there. They didn't grow in size, apart from the bit of fluffing I had several weeks after my operation. I measure a 30DD and when I can find a 28E that's also comfortable. The scars have faded nicely. Not checked them lately but they look good. I'm now able to sleep on my front, albeit slightly awkwardly! I still wear my sports bra every night to bed. They ache a bit in the morning if I've gone commando. Need to buy some new bras as my big buy last year are looking worn and tired. It's nice to feel shapely (i'm a size 6) and I actually look healthier as it looks like I've gained some healthy pounds (which I've also done lately according to the scales) . When I was pregnant I enjoyed looking pregnant as it gave me more shape!

I have a love and (sometimes a )dislike relationship with them, I think due to them not being naturally mine, I wish they were now and again. Back in the old days, my boobs were never large but nice, that all changed with pregnancy and breastfeeding. They're not overally big now, which I'm happy about, but looking forward to them maturing a bit more and having a bit more sag! Probably sounds mad! I think my skin has good elasticity (both pregnancies my tummy pinged back to normal), so a bit more drop would be nice.

I had a new found confidence when I had my BA and it lasted for months, but I think I've lost my mojo lately and like most of us ladies, we're never happy with our bodies! Nothing specific for me though. This feeling is down to not having much time for myself and I'm in need of a pamper and a haircut. That will need to change in the New Year!

I'm very happy I've had my BA and wouldn't change my decision. Best thing I have ever done, apart from having my babies and passing my driving test!

Thanks CharFayre, The avi photo is relatively old, probably a couple of months after my BA. I'm going to try and update the photo this wkend. What size are you currently? Is your BA soon? x

I'm 34 b (very small b) now hoping for D which I'm sure ill get, 3 weeks yesterday till my turn!! I really can't wait. Are yours much more different now? Are it wearing a push up bra in your pic? Sorry for all the questions lol xx

I'm sure you must feel really exicited! New boobs for 2013! No, it's not a push up bra. I only own 1 and I've not worn it yet as I need the right dress to wear it with! Mine have changed, they look a lot softer and more natural. They settled very quickly after my BA but probably due to them being a smallish implant. I will be following your journey!

They look perfect, exactly what I want, they would look mega in a push up bra then! Lol. I'm also having nagor implants. Need mine to settle quite soon so that's good aswell, thanks for your post

So good to read you're going to dedicate a little more time to yourself in the new year. I think mums especially need that little bit of time out to recharge our batteries babe, so you enjoy lovely.

tinkerbell I had a picuture trail but deleted it a while back. Congrats on your BA. As you already know, your boobs will seem strange for a while. I'm still getting used to mine a year on!

Lovely to hear the update, glad they have settled. I remember when it was my boobies 1 year birthday and I had completely forgot until later on in the day!
