hi all did the rest of you have shiny skin in your boobs and chest just after your BA xx

Hi Tinkerbell - this is normal as your skin has been stretched. Keep your skin moisturised and this will settle down very soon (no moisturiser on or close to your scars though) x

thanks i will do, i cant get anywhere near my scars just now they are covered in dressings but....... hopefully i get them off and my stitches out tomorrow yeah and then i can hopefully stand in a long shower xx

Plastic boobs are very normal early post-op Tink. As your skin and the swelling starts too relax it does goes go back to normality. Xx

They do look a little freaky at first babe and are often hard to get your head around straight away.

Hi Hun, yes mine were like that for several weeks, when i went to see my surgeon she said it was swelling, it will soon settle! xx

Yep I looked like I had Barbie boobs for a few weeks then they went flaky, gross. But keep them moisturised and you'll be fine.
