Shiny Breasts?

Hey ladies,,, i was speaking to a friend who has also had a BA and her right boob rejected she said as soon as she complained to her breast adviser about a lot of pain they asked if her boobs were shiny and this was a tell tale sign of them rejecting?? Has anyone heard of this?? both of mine are really shiny and now im panicking over any little pain?? I kind of like the shine to them lol :-// xxxx

Wine where shiny too . Its cause the skin is stretched ... And ur early days its normal to have a little pain or sore feeling

Never heard of or read anything to support that shrug

from what I understand about it, is that the shininess of the breast is to do with stretching of the skin, mine were shiny for about a week afterwards, now all looks back to normal

Totally not true, if your implant is being rejected you will get a lot of pain, really bad pain, your body will react by trying to either get rid of the object or by surrounding it in fluid causing extreme swelling, your breasts would be very very hot and you would experience flu like symptoms.
Shiny breasts are a normal reaction to the skin stretching and nearly everyone gets shiny boobs for the first few months.

Most of us who have had our skin stretched tightly over the implant will have shiny boobs babe. Mine looked like plastic... both times! Shocked

Sometimes if there's a problem your boobs can swell excessively and make your boobs look really shiny, but they'd be accompanied by some pain too, maybe a high temp, some redness or a general feeling of not being well, feeling excessively tired that sort of thing.

If anyone is overly concerned about anything though, it takes a minute to pick up the phone and ask your clinic/surgeon for advice. We all pay a lot of money for after care, so do make use of it if you feel you need to, even if it's only for a little reassurance. xx

i thought it was a bit crazy that it would be a tale tell sign i kept saying to my partner oh no they are going to reject and i searched on google but found nothing, I feel fine within myself just the odd shooting pain, Thanks ladies my mind is at rest and i will carry on enjoying the shine whilst its here lol I didn't want to call up as in no pain and thought ill ask you ladies first i think i would have sounded so silly but im sure they would have been fine lol

LOL, I am!!! Enjoyed a fab week in Portugal and came home with a great tan (White bits on boobs not so great lol) and holiday blues, but it's nice to be back here Shiny Breasts? 571992
