Unders and overs dropping??
Just curious as when i had my overs obviously over time they dropped with my own boob. Bur with unders if they are stitched under the muscle will they not drop as much, but will my own boob drop over it?? I am still hating my boobs!!! Far too big and im dont like the width of them either!! Im still not back to work, i just feel really down xxx

Re: Unders and overs dropping??
Both unders and overs drop into a breast pocket, so the both drop and fluff the same.
The only difference is the axing process.... An implant over the muscle will sag along with the skin.
An implant held partially under the muscle will be held by the muscle, so if you have good skin elasticity the ageing/sagging process will take longer. If you don't have good skin elasticity then the skin could well sag over the implant.
I really woundnt worry about that though now. You're talking YEARS away there sweetness.
You still have a lot of changes and a lot of time ahead of you to see the changes...am to see a size result at about 3 months post op hun.
When you next see your surgeon though I'd suggest you make your unhappiness very clear babe. Ensure that everything you say is put down in writing in your notes. If you're unsure what you said has been written, don't be shy to ask your surgeon to recite back to you what he said. The notes aren't private to you. They're your notes!
Hope as times go by you feel happier though gorgeous xx

Re: Unders and overs dropping??
2 weeks today tinkerbell, it just wasnt the result i expected.
Thanks Cookie, im just not really liking the unders. Mine were ok before with overs, had a little rippling after a few years. So i sort of thought i could have taken them this time too xxx

Re: Unders and overs dropping??
I had the same decision when I had my re-op Louise. My surgeon suggested unders for me too, but I'd been happy with mine over the muscle and asked would it be a problem if I stuck with the same profile... He was ok with that hence me having overs again.
Do tell your surgeon everything you're unhappy with hun. No good surgeon wants an unhappy patient so if things don't settle down they should sort it out for you hun. Xxx
