Re: dressings falling off
I was told if my dressings started to come off I could either remove them totally and put new on or just put one over the top xx

Re: dressings falling off
I stuck the edges of mine down with plasters for a few days, then replaced them with large ones earlier this week. I'm finally having my stitches removed tomorrow after 2.5 weeks so cannot wait!x

Re: dressings falling off
At 6 days post-op don't remove your dressings hun!!!!!!!!!!
You could disturb the wound and you really don't want to do that until you've had them checked
If need be, just get some micropore tape from the chemist and without disturbing the wound just re stick the dressing back on babe. Xx

I can't imagine how bad it is not being able to shower, I was dreading it! When I was told I had showerproof dressings I was absolutely over the moon
Sorry not trying to rub it in, I really feel for you girls!

Wow, can't believe you've had to wait so long to shower! Thank god for baths. You must be beyond excited for tomorrow then! haha
Mais - Hopefully you can find something to stick those things back on, I can't wait to just finally take them off already. My surgeon said I could take mine off at 10 days.

Re: dressings falling off
I really am :) It's only because my surgeon is only in Bristol every other Saturday, so last time it was only 3 days after my op (too early for the appointment) which means I had to wait until this time xx
