Rippling
Hi ladies
I haven't been on here for while, I had my 3 months check up with my surgen. I've just been told that I have rippling on my left breast, you can feel it but can not see it, do any of you ladies know if this will get worse? I am a little worried :-(

Re: Rippling
Hi Shena, sorry I can't give any help to you as I'm only 2 weeks PO. But I'm sure there will be someone on here that can help you and try not to worry too much xx

Re: Rippling
Many women find they have some rippling lovely. It's very common and if its not visible not something to be concerned about at all.
A little advice for you would be to watch your weight. If you loose a lot of weight the rippling could them seem significantly worse. Xxx

Re: Rippling
I had rippling with my 1st implants and I'm more than Likey to get it with these as theyre bigger and I still have no breast tissue or fat to cover them!
Like you I couldn't see it, I could feel it but if I leant foward I could see it slightly on the underside near my armpit side it just felt scallopped . Nothing to worry about. Mine never bothered me.
Mine stayed like that for years and didn't get worse just stayed the same. X

Re: Rippling
What does it feel like? Do you only feel it when you touch it with your fingers or do you feel it there all the time? Like a sensation type thing? I've seen pictures of rippling on google and while it's not ideal i don't think it is too bad at all. Think the girls are right that in most cases rippling occurs and some people know it's there and other people just don't realise they have it so don't worry x x x
Re: Rippling
I can just feel it when I run my fingers along the inside of my cleavage, just feels like litttle creases in the edge of the implant.

Re: Rippling
I don't feel it all the time, if the light catches it it's visible. I knew I had a good chance of getting it as I was flat, barely any tissue and fair size implant. It shocked me at first, but I posted on here, and got some reassurance x

Re: Rippling
I have rippling too hun. If I bend over, I can feel it under my boos but its not visible (not that anyone's looking under my boobs anyway, lol)
I've also got a tiny bit on my right cleavage. It feels like a littel wave if i run my finger over the skin. To me its slightly visible if certain light catched it but nobody else seems to be able to see it! So i think I'm being paranoid. I told my nurse about it at my check up this week and she said its nothing to worry about and may ever iron itself out once they fully settle. If not then i`t doesnt really bother me becasue its not v1isoble xx

Re: Rippling
Girls are you always able to feel rippling or can you just see it? I thought I may have a tiny bit on left boob in my cleavage at bottom it just looks like a tiny indent/shadow in the wrong lighting but I can't feel anything.. Gonna ask my PS weds.

Re: Rippling
Thats exactly what my cleavage rippling is like babe - like a littel dent or shadow but its only in certain lights and as I said other people struggle to see so I cant really complain. I'm still happy! Most people that have rippling can just feel it but i think in areas where there is less breast tissue to spread over the implant then you can see it xx

Re: Rippling
I would definitely reinforce what has been said about the weight loss. I lost far too much weight during a very short period of time about 4 years after my first BA following my marriage breakup and my rippling was definitely very visible. When the weight went back on however, it was ok again. x
