Im getting my implants in on the breast crease and i have very little body fat or breast tissue and getting 360cc medium profile silicone implants roughly how many stitches do you think i will have

what are the stitches like getting out. I had 7 under my arm when i had lymph node removed and it was hell getting them out and i had stables after my section but that was so easy getting them out

thanks

Usually they are disolvable stitches nowadays, have you been told your not having those? My surgeon told me my incision will be approx 4cm long either side.

The stitches should be easily removed. Definately no worse than staples!!

I think the armpit is a really sensitive area to have them removed from and with hair follicles there too makes it a bit trickier.

Iv got disolvable stitches but iv had the knot left on the outside so im going this morning to get them checked/removed. It's usually just one continuous stitch that they use :)

I had dissolvable ones so can't help there what it feels like. But my scars are really small maybe over inch and half to two inches and considering the size of the implant it's quite amazing !! Shocked x

I wasn't worried about scars, or the little things I was just focusing on having nice boobs and the reason why i was getting them done. Focusing more on the outcome and the result will take your mind of worrying about the little things.

I really wouldn't worry about this hun. The scar is minimal and the nurses take great care to ensure you're comfortable and don't feel anything. They're so gentle and caring and this is one part of the recovery I'd say is nothing lovely, absolutely nothing at all to worry about Hug xx

Tinkerbell I'm pretty sure it will be just one continuous stitch in each so don't panic xox

Lol. Put it out of your mind Tinkerbell. It's really nothing at all to be worried about. If it was I'd say so hun because I believe we should all be realistic and prepared, but this part of your recovery isn't anything at all to have concerns whatsoever about. Xx

All out in one yes. But they will most likely be disolvable and you'll jus need the knot snipping off. If your worried ask your PS. I had it done today. Pain free took no time at all. Don't over think it :)

TBH doll, I had disolvables, but the undersides of my boobies were numb for about 2 months or more, so I doubt you'd even feel them being removed! Just put it out of your head, it's definitely nothing to worry about scar sizes 571992

Hi Tinkerbell, I've got dissolvable stitches so can't help much on how much it will hurt to get them removed. But I got my dressings changed for the first time on Monday at 10 days post op and I was dreading it, I actually couldn't feel a thing as I am still numb. So it was a whole lot of worrying for nothing! Nurse said I'm healing well and my scars are around 5cm long, pretty amazing what they can squeeze in through such a small incision.

Just try not to worry about it too much as you will have beautiful boobies once its all over and done with xx

Hi Tinkerbell. I had mine removed today - one continuous stitch and you just feel a slight tug. Nothing for you to worry about x
