i've lost 6lbs so far since beginning of november. have you got a smart phone? download an app called my fitness pal, it's brill. you put in your current weight and target weight and time scale and it calculates how many calories you should be eating a day. mines 1260. you can add all the food/drinks you have to the app aswell to keep track of how many you're eating a day.

Also, i try and go to the gym 3 times a week. If you don't want to join the gym maybe get a work out dvd or something or go to a few zumba classes? just something to get a bit of exersize cos i think you're meant to do 3 - 5 lots of 60 minute cardio a week for weight loss xxx

Hey :)

I already play squash twice a week and I have a horse so I ride at least 4 times a week..... Struggling to do more excercise without adding more hours to the day! Lol

It's a food based diet I'm looking for..... My fitness pal is great, but wondered if there was a diet to help accelerate weight loss without getting silly

I did slimming world to lose 5 stone and it is based on healthy eating. I also agree that no fad diet will work long term. You may lose the 6-7lb quickly but then 2 weeks later you will gain it back plus more (speaking from a lot of experience with stupid diets) I tried the cabbage soup diet, xenical tablets, celebrity slim, atkins and I always gained more than I lost but with slimming world I lost the 5 stone over a year and I have now maintained the loss for a year (I have gained a few lbs in the last few weeks from over indulging but I'm working on that!!)

Just completed-

50x push up
100 x leg lifts (50 each leg)
50 x squats
100 x lunges (50 each leg)
50 x lower back bridge
100 x leg extensions (50 each leg)
50 x standing side bends
50 x torso twists

That should help ;)

If I do that evey day for 4 weeks plus cut out the cr*p hopefully I should have a fab pre BA bod!!
