Ok, just curious after I've been having a read today! I read on here that the old bra measuring system of adding 4 or 5 is now wrong, so I measured myself to see if I've been wearing the wrong bra all these years (I either wear a 32B or a padded 32C)
Well imagine my amazement when I see I am a 28" under a 33" around the bust which apparently makes a 28DD!! I know this is just a rough guide but I think in gonna pop out at the weekend and try a 28DD just to check!

A lot of women wear the wrong size. Yes the old measuring system is wrong. Best thing to do though hunny is to just try on bras and get fitted professionaly. Bravissimo are the best for this.

A lot of women automatically think they're a 32 back as its the smallest most high street and bra companies start at. So actaully you may be a 30 or even a 28 back.
Again not all bras fit the same so you maybe a 28 I'm one brand and a 30 in another. Best thing to do is just try them on for the best fit xx Give You

Sounds about right but as Mrs ball said go and try some on and see how they fit. When you go down a band size, you go up a cup size so 32c = 30d = 28dd. Those 3 sizes will roughly have the same size cups just different band sizes if that makes sense?! Its just that 28dd sounds a lot more impressive! lol Let us know how the trying on goes, bet you cant wait! lol xx

Not many have a proper fitting before having their BA babe and I best most would have had a shock if they did! I'd love to know how you got on if you do go for a proper fitting. Xx

It does sound big doesnt it, I got measured yesterday, I did get measured when I was pre BA in Debenhams, but always had to have padded as was always an A ( which I couldn't fill), the lady used to say bend forward and scoop.. And I used to say.. Scoop what?? And I would just have a 32 A or B so I could pad it out with fillets, socks and anything else! I showed my mum my 30 E bra today , she was expecting something massive but it's not. But on my frame they look quite big . I measured myself and was a 29 back just over 34 bust, so i was about right . I don't really wanna get any bigger, but I know with the dropping and fluffing it is a possibility. So much for my large C !!!

I just measured myself and got 26 and 32 but that sounds completely wrong to me! I normally wear 32 band and they seem to fit - how could I need 6 inches smaller?! And that would make me a DD after 260 overs but they don't look that big at all...!

I agree Tors, I am pre op and measure 26 under 31 bust and i was measured properly as a 30B which fits me perfect, so im supposed to be a 26D? Do they even make 26?
