Bra sizing - red marks?

Hey girls, I'm pre-ba, hoping to have my ba in the new year.

I'm just wondering how to work out if I'm correctly fitted for my current bra? I measure 30 inches under bust, and currently wear a 32b, but am always left with red marks around the band...is this normal??

I know the band isn't too tight because I always have to put it onto the tightest hook and to be honest it could be even tighter (even thought Mr Mahdi measured me as a 34a but I know that would be too loose) - is this all normal and do you get red marks around the band even if the bra doesn't feel that tight?

I got little marks from my bras as i do from my jeans. It does sound like the 32 you have may be too loose as they need to be worn on the loosest hook and tightened after the bras been through the wash a bit and is losing some elasticity.

That's what i thought but 30 band bras are hard to find, and with my small boobs having proper support has never been much of an issue, guess that will have go change after my ba though! :-)

Weirdly when I wore my 34A I had the same issue! I measure 29 under-bust and there is no way I was a bigger band! It's so confusing isn't it x

It is because if there's red marks you automatically you think you should be wearing a looser band. Thanks girls for putting my mind at rest xxx
