Update... :)
Soooo.. I am now almost a month post op, cant quite believe it, and feeling much much better. Pain is almost gone, unless I move or sleep awkwardly, and of course first thing in the morning! My scars are looking loads better, although the skin is quite flaky, and the bruising is still bad, I still have a lot of swelling on left side, but I know it will go soon.
I have been going back weekly to have nurse look at my left nipple, which as a lot of you know has been a worry for me, as after my second operation, it didnt seem to heal properly, and looked a bit disgusting, :(
Last week the nurse decided I should see the surgeon to put my mind at rest, and I saw him on Thursday. He said he was not at all concerned, just disappointed that it had happened, as he has only ever had one case like it in ten years! (lucky me!) he said I had lost some skin, so the stitch hadnt held, and thats why it looked like id lost almost half the nipple. He told me that it WILL heal to look like the other one, but it would take some time, and he did a small procedure with local anaesthetic to cut away all the dead skin and help it heal. It hurt! (which he thought was fab that i could feel it but id rather have done without actually!!)
Best of all, he says he will see me every week until it is healing properly, which is sooo good cause it means I never have to worry. He asked me to come in every 2 days to have bandages changed cause it needs proper cleaning not that i can do at home. I can shower carefully without getting bandage wet.
I feel SO looked after, I really really would recommend spire and mr chana, i have had so many appts and they have been there for me round the clock even though this happened. I also know that if for some reason it doesnt heal perfectly, he will sort me out and do whatever revision it takes.
So although its a long process... I am so positive now!

Re: Update... :)
I would urge anyone who is skimping on a surgeon or hospital b/c of cost to really think hard.. I am paying nearly 6thousand which seemed ridiculous to me at the time, but now I have had 2 surgeries instead of one, at least one extra procedure, so far about 15 extra appointments, and 3 extra nights in hospital all included...... It doesnt seem so bad!
