Scar , still scabby
I am nearly 5 weeks post op, and have scabs still on the scar under one breast. One is quite big , about half pea sized. The other scar looks great x is this normal ? Thought they would've gone by now. They are not sore or anything.

I'd leave them well alone and they'll fall off naturally hunny. Don't pick at them. Scabs are natures protective wound healer and will keep nasties out so leave them and they'll fall off in their own time hunny x
If you are concerned phone your clinic for advise. X

Re: Scar , still scabby
Remember that boobs can heal at different rates hun depending on the trauma they suffered during each operation (one on each breast) so it's normal for one scar to take a little longer to heal than the other. Good advice from MrsB! Xx
Re: Scar , still scabby
I've never been one to pick scabs it makes me feel !
I remeber watching a program about the human body and how it heals itself etc and scabs and it amazing how the cells multiply to form, this scab, it was done in QuickTime and speeded up the whole process of scabbing. It's quite amazing really how the human body repairs and looks after itself.
But yes can't bear people picking their scabs... !!

Yeah ok thanks Fairycatcher. How are you? Did you get sorted? Nipples Looking uneven as one boob has dropped slightly. Apart from that they look good, very pleased. Softening up nicely too. It's not glamorous at the moment is it??? Ha ha x gone honey blonde with the hair , nothing like a new do ! Can't wait to get some fake tan on x
