Profile and projection
I had a consultation with a surgeon yesterday and he said he would offer me 365cc high profile partial unders.
Silly question but he he didn't mention anything about the projection....what is the difference between projection and profile - or are they the same thing?? xxx

Re: Profile and projection
Yes pretty much same thing for me though profile is moderate, high or extra high , the projection is a measurement of the actual implant xx

Re: Profile and projection
Thanks mrsball - so if he told me high profile, that means the implant would have a more narrow base, with more projection?

Yes... Moderates are pretty low with a wide base, highs are smaller base with more projection and extra highs are smaller base with a lot of projection. Xx

Re: Profile and projection
Do you mean measure?! Your surgeon should have done this for you hunny as he is the expert and can be a bit difficult to measure exactly on yourself. Xx

Re: Profile and projection
I saw Mr Mahdi yesterday - he was lovely and very informative but I've heard he favours small implants. I'm seeing Mr Clarke in December (I'm working away when he's next in Newcastle next month) so I'm hoping he will suggest a bigger implant. Mr Mahdi had noted '410cc' in my notes as a possible size, but he said my pre-ba boobs have slight asymmetry, and the difference could be more noticeable the bigger i get, so having the 410s would be a risk. But I've asked my pc to put a note in my file for the surgeon to try the 410s and if they don't look right then use the 365s :) haha sorry for the life story lol xx

Re: Profile and projection
Breast width diameter Hun, it's this measment that will be used to determine the best size implant for you to have ie. mod, high or x high. In the cc you want.
Small bwd tend to have high or x high because they have a smaller base.
