Why do people judge ladies with 'boob jobs'???

I am 6 days post op & already im getting judgmental sarcasm of certain little nobodys & already really starting to **naughty word** me off!

People assume that we have 'boob jobs' for vanity, not stopping for a minute to think about all the personal reasons & insecurites we have!! I let off some steam on facebook earlier by having a status that read:

"yes i have chosen to have surgery not that it' anyones business but for the judgmental idiots of the world i would just like u to stop & have a think (if that is possible) about actual reasons why so many women choose this type of surgery. For the majority Its not for vanity its for our own insecurities & self esteem. If any of u have anything to say about my 'boob job' then please let my ears be the first to hear it!!"

I love this forum cos we all understand each other :) i will not let anyone badmouth me or my twins pmsl i just think most people are jealous....ill have the last laugh next summer when im wearing my vest tops & bikinis & have big perky boobs!!! Oh how i love karma :) xxxxxx

I agree, I think a lot of what other women have to say is about jealousy... For some close to us though, I do think some of it because they care and worry about us, which sometimes not be welcome pre-BA or early post-op when you're worrying about everything lol, but it does dawn on you later..

I actually get quite a kick out of jealous comments.. It make me push my boobs out juuuuuust that lil bit more just to pee them off xx

I think the people that mostly judge are the ones who are jealous/insecure about their own bodies and are too wimpy to do anything about it so would rather just slate everybody else for having the courage to make changes with their lives (they tend to be the kind of people that will put down anything positive other people do - not just BA's)

you said yourself that they're certain little nobodies so just ignore them! they're clearly ugly on the inside and now you've got your new additions you're beautiful inside and out and this threatens them!!

karma will def come back to bite them in the **naughty word**!

I've have a so called friend tell me I'm 'vain' to have a BA and I think in this case it was a case of sour grapes....it hurt at first but now I don't care!!! x

This is exactly why only my parents and boyfriend know. I'm not interested in peoples opinions and I live in a small town and id hate to give them all something to chat about. I won't deny iv had one, just don't feel the need to share it with people who it doesn't affect/concern :)

I've not come across this myself but if I did I would take great pleasure in saying its the best thing I've ever done and will be having them done again im about 10 years. It mostly boils down to jealousy so id give them something to be jealous about. X

I have been very lucky and all my friends and family have been very supportive, they understood how unhappy I was and all agreed that if they were me they would have done the same but I havent told everyone, only my close friends and family... I'm sure if I had told everyone or put it on facebook I would have had some negative comments from some of my 'friends'

The most common insults I get from people is "you're FAKE", "barbie doll" "plastic boobs" and other boring things. So boring and predictable! And like Cookie said, if I see girls giving my Mary-Kate & Ashley (my names for my boobs haha) dirty looks I push them out even more

So what if they are fake.... Most women use some form of fakery... eyelashes, tan, make up, hair colour, hair extensions, tattoos, even high heels make u look taller than you 'really' are. It all makes us feel better so who cares! We have had the guts to go and do something for ourselves to make up feel better, we have paid the expensive fee and put up with the recovery process to get it. Its certainly not an easy ride and not an easy decision to make. There are very few women who can honestly say they are 100% natural every day! You just wouldnt say to someone "oh your hair looks lovely but its not yours cos its out of a bottle and you should be grey!" Its crazy and I have dealt with judgements most of my life as I am heavily tattooed and pierced and people think its fair game to make comments like "tramp stamps" and "oh your gonna regret that in the future!"

I think if you are a confident woman other women see you as a threat. I don't like the snidey comments I get , disguised with a smile, like it's a joke! Get them on the school run, " whatever time must you get up to do your make up?", " Where are you off to all done up", " Don't know how you manage all day in them shoes" ha harzy ha! ." My husband likes natural women, he wouldnt let me out the door dressed like that... "
Yes Mrs, and my husband wouldn't Want me to leave home looking like I haven't had a wash ! ( haven't said it but have thought it! ) I have told 2 good mates about my BA and they have been great! Their are others in our circle who I am unsure about but I don't care! It's their problem x

That's brilliant jakki and so true...I've always made sure my hair and makeup done before I go out and I've had these comments but as long as I feel good I'm not bothered, I even do my hair and makeup before I walk my dog!! :thumbs: xx

Haha I love that Cookie! Pathetic how petty other women can be! someone said something similiar about me once. I overheard 2 girls talking about me, the one said "I want her boobs, they look amazing" and the other said "Yeah but they aren't REAL, they're 2 pieces of plastic". Oh lord!

If I am out in the ladies, a bar etc, and I like a girls hair, dress, make up I will ask her about it, tell her she looks nice. And some women do look shocked when you give them a genuine nice comment because it doesn't happen much. It's such a shame. If I plan a girls night I always say Dress Up!! Go for it!! Want us all to look our best. Some of my mates are stunners, and I think good for them, would never wanna knock them down x

I've not had my BA yet and not told that many people. A couple of my close friends have had BAs and they can't wait so we can compare etc! My friends that's I've told have been supportive but I do wonder what people will say behind my back. I'm not that bothered TBH but some people are pathetic!
