Boobs getting smaller...

To begin with they were swollen which seemed to calm down on week 2 and they started looking great... 25 days in still love the shape etc but I swear they are getting smaller!
It's really niggling me at the moment and I am starting too obsess about it. My b/f thinks they look the same but what does he know, eh! lol!
I think my boobies are just gonna go down even more
Anyone else experienced this?

They're not going smaller hun...
What's happening is the full upper pole you had at first after surgery is something you've gotten used to seeing. As your swelling has settled down and your boobs have started to drop you lose that fullness from the upper pole of your breast and the lower pole begins to fill out giving you a nice natural shape to the breast. As this happens. The breasts protrudes forwards, this is called the 'Fluffing' stage and your boobs get BIGGER! Many women after losing the upper pole do perceive their boobs to be smaller, but you get into wired plunge bras and you can soon get that effect back if you like that look. Xx

They certainly looked like they were getting bigger on the pics you uploaded on picturetrail!

I had a look at that link and it does make sense what you said completely, I just like my "fluffing" is more shrinking, lol! You're right though, fingers crossed getting the go ahead to wear bras will help xx
I thought that too 5Stone! But in the 10 days since I last took a picture they do look smaller... come to think of it maybe I should take some pics and update my trail to compare!

Remember to look at your pre-op pics too!! Its easy to forget what u had before and you get used to them! I looked back at my pre-op photos today and I completely forgot how bad they were!! My breast tissue didnt even start until lower than the crease!! They were so so bad and the change is amazing! I had just forgotten what it was like to have anything less than I have now!! I'm sure you will notice the same!

Very true! My pre op boobs make me shudder, can't believe I looked like that! I think what I find hard is I am a bit of a perfectionist and how I imagined my boobs to look post op just isn't what I have...but, like you say I need to concentrate on the pre op boobies!
I have just updated my pic trail... would you mind taking a peek and letting me know if I am smaller? There is 7 days between taking pics and I do feel they are smaller :'(

I think they look great! The swelling has gone down now and your skin doenst look as stretched which is prob why you feel they are smaller but they are nice and round now and you dont have that early pointy look that so many of us get anymore!! You still have to fluff yet hun and once your muscle relaxes over the implants I'm sure they will get a lot bigger but I think they look great and I would be very happy!

Aw thank you for looking and saying such nice things, made me smile I just looked at my pre op boobs again... I should be happy shouldn't I, lol! It's good to get a fresh pair of eyes opinion cos our own opinion is just maybe a bit negative sometimes!
How's your boobies getting on? Have you had the strips taken off now?

Honestly babe...your boobs look fab i havent managed to get on your picture trail yet....(i dont have one found this site later

But i know how you feel about boobies looking smaller i felt the same and somedays i still do but TODAY omg i put on a 34dd bra and my eye's nearly popped out

It's nice to know you also feel/felt the same! I do think bra wearing will help loads! Though I am scared to have my boobs pushed together... how does it feel and should I start gently pushing them together a bit do you think? What did you do? xx

Ive never pushed them or massaged them i was never told to by my surgeon...i think i was just very patiant..which is shocking for me
i must admit tho when they slowly start to softern i had a little squeeze to see how they were feeling and wether i could get them together a bit, but mine still dont meet at the mo but thay are much softer and playable..lol....12 week mark for me seems to have been the best for everything....it has been a real posative turning point...sounds far away but it went quick....i have had a underwired bra on today and they have felt the dogs do dar's

Hi Zebra, i just posted about my boobs, and how im feeling, they are changing and its strange isnt it! tbh im not sure i like it lol, but will have to get used to it!
i keep thinking mine look smaller too, so need to keep checking the pre op pics ALOT!!!
