Measurements!! Bra buying is gonna be hard!
Just done my measurements (which is way too early but I just had to see!) I followed the guide on here and I'm a 28FF! I've been wearing a 32 back for ages and havent been measured properley for a long time! Just worried now cos finding bras in a 32 with a D cup was difficult enough! I just dunno how I'm gonna find bras in a 28 back with such a large cup size!!

I didnt realize U could get a 28 on anything! Did U measure your underbust and it come out at 28? As I seem to remember you add 4/5 cm to the initial measurement x

Yeah you can get a 28... I followed the guide on here for measuring which has a link to a calculator to put your measurements in. But when I followed the m&s guide I came out a 32DD!! Its so hard cos everywhere sizes differently!! I remember when I was wearing a 34c I got measured in bravissimo and they got me at a 30DD which felt way too tight around the back! The 34 was too big but I think I was more in the middle at a 32d which is what I was wearing pre-op. Maybe if I take the same approach I will be a 30E but even so its not gonna be easy!!

Re: Measurements!! Bra buying is gonna be hard!
5stone, i have exactly the same back size! for all my life ive been wering first a 32 aa then 32 d with my 1st ba, it was only whn i was fitted in bravissimo and la senza that they aid i was a very small 30 or 28 back and a 28 G fits great on me. most of the support for your boobs should come from your band NOT your straps!
so whwn i tried the 28G freya bra on it was 'perfect' it held me in place gave me a beautiful shape and fitted snug. not like a 32 F i had previosuly tried on where it gave me no support on the band!
bravissimo is your best bet there are a few brands that do small backs large cups, freya, M&S, panache, curvy kate which you can order of teh net or EBAY! X

Re: Measurements!! Bra buying is gonna be hard!
Was the 'measurement' link a sticky on here 5stonedown?
I wouldn't trust anything that 'measures' you hun.
Being measured and using calculators to get your bust size is long gone and well known to have had women in bras that don't fit hun.
The way to go is to be 'fitted' into a bra that fits 'YOU' not put into any 'general' scale.
If it turns out you are a 28 back babe, you'll have no problem getting bras to fit, but you'll probably find you'll only be able to get them in specialist lingerie shops such a Bravissimo rather than superstores. xx

I'm a 28 back too and you can get bra's but they cost a bloody fortune lol. I sometimes wear 30 backs but the only seem to do cheap bra's starting at a 32 back. x

And there you go, as it says in the sticky lovely:
misf1, does also say 'it's not very accurate'.
It's best you go get 'fitted' hun to get the correct size. misf1 clearly states it's not 100%. Like I've said this has been proven, so it's only a general guide. I wouldn't take it for being your size unless you were 'fitted' into the same. xx
This is not 100% and nothing beats being fitted properly (not
measured, dont let people use tape measures unless they are going to
check the fit as well).
