Consults tomorrow! Advice please!
Hiya ladies, :)
SO excited to get the ball properly rolling tomorrow! I am seeing my #1 choice first thing, and then a couple more in the afternoon. What I'm interested in, is how many of you made a surgery booking there and then, and of those-who is glad they did and who feels like it was a mistake?
I just feel like I've done SO much research, and if I like the guy and his plan in person.... why wait?
Liz xx

Re: Consults tomorrow! Advice please!
When I saw the surgeons for both my b a's I knew they were right for me and I was happy with them so I booked on the day. Not everyone is so sure and see another surgeon. But I went with my gut feelings and I was right. But if you have any doubts get another consultation. Try not to get carried away with the excitement.Good luck and let us now how you get on xx

Re: Consults tomorrow! Advice please!
I went for 3 different consults and went with the third surgeon but I booked in the day after my consult as she refused to let me book until I had thought things through overnight!! (My consult was at 6pm) I knew she was the right person straight away and would have booked there and then if I could have!! I also took my fella with me for all my consultations to keep me grounded. He also remembered all the sensible questions that I wanted to ask as he knew I'd get carried away!!

Re: Consults tomorrow! Advice please!
I think even if you KNOW you have the surgeon for you, doing as 5stonedowns surgeon suggested and allowing yourself some time to at least go home give time for the information to soak in and possibly research what was suggested for you if you'd like to is the right thing to do before actually booking.
I'd personally have at least 1 other so I at least have the opportunity to compare knowing then that I made the right choice.
But you'll do what feels right for you Elizabeth and I wish you the best of luck lovely. Xx
