Re: Scars?
Your scars are still VERY new and have a lot of changes to go through. Everyone's body heals at different rates but they do eventually fade for most women to a very faint line. Always protect your scars from the sun/sunbed as this can darken them permanently. At your next appointment with your surgeon discuss ways to speed up the recovery process (bio oil, massage).
Don't worry hun, they won't be obvious forever!x

Re: Scars?
At around 6 weeks post-op you'll be told you can start to moisturise and massage your scars, from then they do start to look a little better babe.
Your scars could remain red though for four maybe six months or longer Lauren before you start to see some improvement. It does take quite some time before they turn into a fine line that would be almost invisible. It was over a year for me lovely.
At just 8 days post-op you still have a heck of a long way to go through recovery sweetheart.
I don't think any of us are really prepared for just how long it takes for our boobs/skin to recover, but with patience the time soon flies by. Xxx
